This movie was certainly made for the current situation among Black, unless you relate to or understand this dynamic among this demographic you're not going to find this for you--but don't blame the movie and penalize the ratings, just know it's not for you. Didn't care for the ending for one of the main characters but what I can respect about this movie is how clean they kept it and how there is an underlying marriage crisis in the Black community. I hate how Black actors are constantly portrayed as sex addicts, unmarried floozies and pimps. This is not representative at all while this actually speaks to truth. This one was for the Black community and for every Black woman still waiting to get married for the first time. Enjoy!

Some people say this movie is corny but I like this movie. It has some life lessons. It has some comedy too. It has great actors like Kevin Hart, Megan Good, Tamala Jones, Nicole Ari Parker, Keith Robinson, Mike Epps and Wendy Raquel Robinson and Dondre Whitfield. Out of all the characters in the movie I like Tamala Jones role. She did an awesome job in her role. She came a long way from the movie booty call. Each characters in the movie went through something but came out with a happy ending. Friends became lovers and then got married. And Tamala Jones character felt pressured by her biological clock ticking and wanting a baby and her husband deceives her throughout their marriage. And leaves her and get another woman pregnant. Tamala Jones is hurt and finds happiness and adopts a baby. I would recommend this movie.

I thoroughly enjoyed this very entertaining and meaningful movie. It has so many different moods in it, that it will appeal to many tastes. It is not often that you get so much laughter and wild humor interspersed between realistic tragic moments and painful truths about love, life, and relationships all in one film. You get to really like the characters and feel their pain in difficult situations and loss, and the comic relief is right on time, every time, to help lighten the viewer's emotional load. I found myself alternating between laughing and crying throughout this movie. The characters of the four lifelong best friends are so likable and their bonds of friendship so strong, you'll find yourself rooting for each one of them to find happiness. There are some really funny scenarios like Zenobia's online date and the fighting neighbor couple's arguments. It's definitely one of the funniest romantic comedies I've seen in a while!

Good looking actors and actresses for sure but the story is very light.

I watched this movie for Kevin Hart as he cracks me up. His character was funny and he was too, but of course, it's within a story that might have been more interesting to me a couple of decades ago. So I might have switched it off, but everyone was looking good, and the pace was fast, so I stuck it out. It's a light story, but a good cast.

Good movie. But Tamala Jones and Meagan Good?!!? Say less... This jawn hit home for me. I've personally experienced major parts of the 3 relationships in this film, ALL in ONE relationship. The jealousy, the drunk, being with someone incapable of love or motherhood. And on top of all that add bi-polar. But i digress, the movie was great. And its good to see Russ Parr do it big. Bless UP Bredren

Not Russ's best film but it'll do...

The writing on this film was some what bone dry, with either forced comedic moments that were meant to be funny but wasn't or not enough wordiness between characters at pivotal points which made the film drag in a slow spacey manner. Russ has written better, like, "love for sale", although the writing was on the weak side the star cast of actors made up for what could have been a total lost of a film. Not to be minimized on writing specifically, the subject matter was pretty nice, I was thrown for a loop at certain points with whom I thought would end up with each other. So, kudos for that twist, normally I be up on stuff like that. Over-all this was a pleasant film to watch and it definitely had me reflecting about how ppl my age perceive in this day and era. I can relate to a lot of what was shown in this film and so I would recommend this film to anyone who would want to see a solid romantic comedy that isn't over the top with any slap stick buffoonery...

Cute actors, but dumb story

Don't waste your time. Even if you're a Kevin Hart fan, he is treated like crap during the whole movie. Not a fun story and such a waste of time.

This movie cracks my sh*t up every time. My favorite scenes are the exchanges between Donya (Lunell Campbell) and Cleavon (Kevin Hart) at the sperm bank, er, "Reproductive Science Center": "Do you want the courtesy pack? Do you need the goggles this time? Do you want this or this (holding up a huge bottle of lotion, and a huge bottle of lube, for everyone in the waiting area to see)? We got some new DVDs. We've got 'Nasty Neanderthals'. . ."

Can't believe it doesn't have better reviews than it does. Pure comedy. Russ Parr is a comedic genius.
