Try to utilize this so-called protection plan for a camera I bought less than 4 months ago. And they can't even find the brand name to file the claim, what a joke. Then try to chat with a rep and it timed out and disconnected me from chat oh, again what a joke. This is not worth the money at all it is very complicated and tedious in trying to find any type of claim.

I buy a lot of things on amazon, and it’s really hard to tell exactly WHAT I purchased this warranty for, the email receipt gives no indication whatsoever except for the purchase date and approximate price window. I don’t know how the customer service is, but I can’t even tell what I paid this coverage for.

It is good to take out Protection Plan on your electronics, appliances or whatever you’re purchasing that comes with the Protection Plan. I purchased an electronic and it worked probably for 6 months, keep contacting the manufacturer to resolve my issues and nothing was satisfactory to make electronic to work. I purchased a 3 years Protection Plan on my electronic device, I called Asurion about it and let them know my electronic not working and they were happy to help me. They told me to return the non working item and in less than 2 weeks I received a check in full amount of purchase price. I encourage consumers when buying anything that comes with Protection Plan, buy the plan at the same time of purchase and you’ll never regret it.

I have an EBIKE, which I ride quite often. I ride it on a Greenway walking/bicycle path, where people also walk their dogs. I find, at times, that some dogs are very aggressive, and because their owners are not responsible enough to train them, they lunge at my bike, causing me to take evasive action, perhaps falling, causing me to have an accident, or possibly getting bit. I have complained to the proper authorities re this situation, and have been advised that until they personally see the incident, or I get bit, nothing can be done. VOLIA, with my new sunglass camera, I'm all set! They work perfectly! Great resolution, great price, and I feel much better if, and when the occasion arises when I need to document a situation.

Purchased along with an XM Onyx Radio (the third in 5 years) as the radios last about as long as sneakers.
Visa offers "Double MFG Warranty" (on most purchases) that made it a two-year warranty, Asurion made it three years; I felt the small fee was worth the 'risk-transfer' (a term insurance companies are intimate with). Honestly feeling I wasted the fee and should not have spent the money; almost two years to the day, the radio Fails! Seeing I was w/i the Visa Warranty program then also seeing Asurion was also active, I chose to initiate a claim with Asurion (my first involvement with Asurion).
Holy Cow was that money well spent. They handled the claim with 'The Quickness' - like I was there only client; amazing!
I know people will game this system and that is a shame, but I will attest to Asurion, and they offer a good product I will not hesitate to buy (or at least strongly consider) with future purchases, I certainly will buy it again when I buy (yet) another XM Onyx.
Now in consideration of XM SIRIUS RADIO's 'pattern-ability' & 'consistency'; I'll see you guys at Asurion in about two years when this replacement fails....lol!

It's unfortunate that consumers need to buy insurance plans for their purchases and gifts but various toys and electronics have been defective or stopped working and Asurion has paid for the tech repair or paid for the item that was defective. It was difficult dealing with persons/chats on-line however. They have just repaired/reset an electronic device that I purchased for my granddaughter. I will find out if they have done their job when I am able to return this gift to her.

I bought this Asurion warranty for my 1st outdoor security camera 2 1/2 years. I had issues with the camera not working so I contacted Asurion about it. We had an electrical storm and it shorted out the first camera. They gave our money back for that camera. So, when I bought a new security camera and I purchased this warranty from Asurion again because they were great, covered my loss and I had no issues contacting an agent and she handled it immediately.

I bought a trucker's GPS for my motorhome in October of 2020. I had not used it at all except to set it up when I first got it.
A couple of weeks ago I was going for a short trip in the motorhome so I tried to turn on the GPS and it would not boot past the opening screen. I tried several things like recharging the battery, resetting it, etc. Nothing seemed to work. It was already way past the window to return it to Amazon. Then I remembered that I had purchased the warranty from Asurion. I called them up and they sent me a return label and said they would refund the full purchase price when they received it from me which they did.
Thank you Asurion.

I'm rarely impressed by services like this, but I have to say this far exceeded my expectations. Very Very easy to use. I had a device go bad on me, I filed a claim online, easy to do, took no time at all. I was instructed to mail back the defective item and Asurion would reimburse me via an Amazon gift card. I literally took the device to UPS, mailed it that day, and I had the reimbursement amount in my account by day's end. Very impressed with the integrity and speediness of this company and its service. I would buy again if this is how the process goes each time.
