Don't Even Bother Giving Them Your Money

Worse company ever, you can not call them, the only way you can get a hold of them is through email. I got protection for some wireless headphones, the casing of the headphones broke. I didn't drop them at all the plastic just came off, I started the process to get them fixed. They just replied to all my communication with them stating that it was a cosmetic issue and therefore they would not help me. Remember, you can't explain anything to them, you can't send pictures of the problem, the only thing you can do is provide them with proof of purchase of their protection plan and the product you bought it for. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS IS A SCAM.

The description for the warranty is crystal clear. I was unfortunate enough to drop my Tozo earbuds from a tall balcony, but this warranty covered them as I expected. From Filing the claim online to getting an Amazon gift card in my email I waited less than one hour. Even the toll free number, which I called first, was very helpful in directing me to their website to file the claim instead of waiting for an operator. The process was straightforward and simple, and I got covered.

As an insurance product, this is a good as it gets.

I usually don't buy protection plans for electronics under $100. However, I order 3 bluetooth headsets and just wanted to be on the safe side. One of them stopped taking a charge, so thankfully I had this plan. It was VERY easy to make a claim. They were VERY fast in helping me get a replacement. Basically they gave me an amazon gift card to purchase another headset, so I did that and bought the protection again...just in case. ;) Well worth the price and I will definitely purchase these Asurion plans in the future.

I always purchase the protection plan when I order fragile electronics like headphones.
I prefer Bluetooth headphones that have the collar with the wire that connects the earbuds. It makes it impossible to lose a headphone when running or on the move. Unfortunately things with cords tend to degrade in audio quality over time.
The Asurion makes it quick and painless to exchange a product when it inevitably breaks down sometime between the 30 day return period and the warranty.

Great Warrenty for Accidental Damages

When I purchased a headset for my young one, I knew that I had to get this warranty and within six months there was a damage to the headset. I initially called and someone answered and told me that they have submitted my claims and that I will hear back within a day. Well three days went by and I did not hear anything, so I decided to use the online option. I submitted my claim, within an hour I got an email that my claim was accepted and instructions on how to return the broken headset. Very simple, I returned the headset, got a gift card for the amount. I was able to purchase another head set and another warranty.

I purchased a three-year warranty on a set of bluetooth earbuds I also just purchased for around $35. They come with a one year limited warranty from the manufacturer, but Asurion's warranty will cover them from pretty much anything that might happen to them and for three times longer.

I bought the warranty also because of prior experience of having purchased a previous pair of earbuds a couple of years ago. They worked well for about a year, then stopped charging all the way.
The warranty was up and there wasn't anything I could do about it. I was out a pair of earbuds.

Had I purchased this warranty back then, they would have replaced that pair (more than likely, rather than trying to repair them). This warranty is well worth it's cost!

I had bought a set of wireless headphones, they were great. But also got the product protection plan for like $3 or so. A few months ago one earpiece started acting up-- almost "stuttering" and skipping notes in music. I got where I no longer could use them, and dug out my product protection plan. Process for filing a claim was quite easy. I was sent a prepaid label, and packaged and sent off the item. That same day I dropped it at UPS, I got an email in the evening saying "here's your gift card to reimburse your cost". They sent it even before the item was shipped to them. Great service!

The repair was done promptly at my home (in their truck) and correctly the first time. Replacement was with a refurbished phone what works well beyond the expected useful lifespan. This insurance is worth it if you need the peace of mind that you will have the equipment working for the length of the policy
