I purchased an item on April 2 with a two year Asurion protection plan. The item is not scheduled to arrive at my house until April 23. However, I received the Asurion plan iin the mail today, and it says that the plan duration begins on the date of purchase. This is unacceptable. The plan cannot start before I receive the item. I am formally asking for the plan to start on the date of delivery. Please get back to me about this.

I don't usually buy these protection plans. But I bought this one for a hoverboard because the price was very reasonable and I feared something will go wrong w the hoverboard. Well, I'm glad I did because one of the the overboard motors failed. It was my first time filling a claim w Asurion and it was super easy. I opted for the phone call method. The agent was super helpful and the claim was processed in about 5 minutes. To my surprise, the plan refunded the full price I paid for the hoverboard and I didn't have to return it. An Amazon gift card was sent to me for the amount within minutes and I was to redeem it without issues. I couldn't be more satisfied w this outcome.

I bought the elliptical because I had had one before and as I am an elder, it is a safe way to necessary exercising. Unfortunately, the one I bought this time did not last me years as the previous one which was made in the USA. The new one was made in China and it started giving me problems with a weird noise in just 3 months of use which made no sense as I weigh 120 lbs and I used it 5 days a week for 20 minutes at a low speed. After about one months of speaking with the sellers and sending them a video so they could hear the noise it was making, I got a new wheel. The problem began again after about 2 months so I decided to cope with the noise not to go through the same thing again, as I had had the need of a handyman to first assemble it and then to install the replacing wheel which was an extra cost each time. After about another month or so, the strap that went around the wheel unexpectedly snapped and this time the sellers required payment to replace it so I decided it was not worth it as I had no need to change the way it was working without it.
My decision to file a complain and use Asurion is quite justified as I had expected a reasonably good performance from the machine and it had failed miserably, not worth the price at all.

This protection purchase is outstanding! I had an issue with my kid's products that I purchased & they weren't hardly playing with them because of the functionality, but I put in a claim for both & they were totally solved in less than 30 minutes in total & I couldn't be more happy with the piece of mind from purchasing these protection plans as well as how helpful the Chatrep was for the 2nd claim! I urge you to protect your products if in doubt or not!

Absolutely amazing and sooo easy!! Best warranty ever! Just like Costco! I must say, Amazon/Asurion insurance is something I definitely will buy again. They are better than the warranty thru the Hiboy Scooter Company themselves!! When I purchased my daughter a hoverboard, I decided to buy the 2-year protection plan. I am so happy I did. By 18 months, the batteries stopped holding a charge. Asurion was easy to use and I'm very happy with the results. By daughter will be out gliding again in a couple of days.

I’ve bought a few warranties, but never had to use one. Finally a product failed shortly after purchase and so I reluctantly started the Asurion claim process assuming it would be a daunting process or unsuccessful. To my surprise, it only took a couple minutes to submit the claim and almost immediately I received a full Amazon credit for my purchase. I cannot recommend this program enough after this experience.
