I'm always on the lookout for toys to distract and keep our Yorkies busy/entertained. A friend of mine had one of these for her cat. I was hoping Maiya would like it as much as her kitten. As you can see in the video - she is definitely intrigued. She chases the light and we have a fun playtime. It comes in handy as a flashlight, too. My husband said he is going to use the black light to find scorpions. P.S. It all works to find urine stains if you have a pet that has accidents. That is the picture with the purple color. You can see the urine stain stand out in the middle of the purple. I'm shining it on a throw rug we have. I may have to throw IT away! YIKES! I was probably better off not knowing. ;) Definitely recommend.

He prefers the "dot" but the butterfly and smiley face are a good change once in awhile. Just have to be careful to not let your cat look directly at the "flashlight". I keep a close watch and if he turns my way, I quickly point it straight up. He enjoys it in the evening when the darkening room makes it even more visible. Very sturdily made and even has a "black light" and "regular" flashlight mode, should you need it for other things. Good value!
