It works GREAT for moisturizing your body/hair/hands ABSORBS SO QUICKLY SO LOVE. BUT if you have really REALLY sensitive skin DO NOT USE THIS IN YOUR FACE. If you are wanting to hop on the current Sqaulane hype because you saw the BIOSSANCE commercial I was you. This is derived from SUGARCANE (just like the BIOSSANCE one). I have read some reviews online that people have had allergic reactions to the BIOSSANCE squalane. I was a bit bothered that you couldn't find what plant this was derived from until you scrolled down finding that somebody asked that question on which plant it came from. Knowing I have sensitive skin I decided to give it a try anyways seeing so many rave reviews. I was super nervous and Ahahahah...
In 3 hours I ended up getting a small rash on the right side of my face. Just reading the comments trying to find the news of allergic reactions was making my face itch LOL. I washed my face over again and the itching went mostly away. I put fresh leaf aloe vera gel on my face and it was all good.
I DO NOT KNOW about Sqaulane derived from OLIVES but I have also read that ALOT OF PEOPLE with sensitive skin had allergic reactions as well. I study alot of natural skin care and learning just because it's natural dosent mean it's always gonna work so be very mindful!

A little goes a long way! There is a LOT of oil in the bottle that it comes in! On a really dry day, I can use 3 drops on my face, otherwise 2 is fine. My face really started to break out when I started using this, because of the hormonal acne that was already there. But it forced it to the surface faster and then healed up my skin faster! So it is basically a detox at first. I think it will reduce the amount of acne I've had, in time. Nearing age 40, so I've seen positive effects with this stuff. It causes the moisturizer to absorb better into my skin, and I've been using it all over my body with the body lotion as well as on my neck. It will be a long time before I need to order again because of such a large amount in the bottle, but I will definitely purchase again in time! Thanks for the introductory pricing on this!!!

Can’t believe I’m only just now hearing about this stuff

This stuff is amazing. I heard about it from a website about simple skincare science. I use it on my face, hair and nails. I have combination skin, with an oily t zone but generally very dry and flaky skin. I mix it with my face cream for day and night time moisturizing, and it really makes my skin glow.
My hair is very thick, frizzy, and kinky/curly. I put a dime size amount over wet hair that’s been coated with a leave-in conditioner, and my hair winds up feeling so soft and smooth, but not greasy or weighed down at all (honestly, I don’t mind my hair being a little weighed down, but this makes it so manageable that the trade-off works well for me. I just add a little camellia oil to my ends on days that I need a little more weight/richness.) Thanks to this product, I went from a product junkie to 3 products for hair and 2 for face for daily maintenance. I’d like to try some other formulas, but I’m sold on this as a staple. Hopefully they’ll make it subscribe and save soon.

I'm very happy with this product. I've previously used their Vitamin C serum with Hyaluronic Acid, and I figured I'd give this new product a try. The Squalane Oil is definitely more oily than the serum, and a little goes a long way. If you have oily skin, this may not be good for you. But if you have dry skin, this moisturizes better than any face moisturizer I've used. It might seem oily/greasy at first, but the oil has a silky feel to it, and it makes my skin feel plump, soft, and healthy. It will leave your skin with a bit of a shine to it, but I'm sure a little matte cover-up or powder would do the trick to offset that.

I've been using for a few weeks now with great results. I don't need to put on additional moisturizer or lotion after this, and my skin stays moisturized for the entire day (some cream-based moisturizers seem to wear off after awhile, especially in the winter or in really dry conditions). I have had no adverse reactions like redness or acne, and would highly recommend to anyone who suffers from dry skin.

It's a lightweight smooth clear oil that soaks into skin. I use 2 to 3 drops on face. One on neck. I massage in, if any excess, blot with tissue or soft cloth. Then I add a little creamy moisturizer. Then my liquid makeup base. Blend well, I love the round red sponge to blend (old school quess). Buff with lightweight powder, must use very light layer. Anyways, LOVE IT. My wrinkles are softening. Wish I had this when I was younger. P.S. I put whole bottle in a heavy short drinking glass because I am afraid I will knock the bottle over on my bathroom counter since you use a dropper type dispenser, works best for me since I am in a rush a lot.

Mixed feelings since it leaves greasy layer

I've tried different squalane oils and none have left a film on my face with each use like this one does. I only add 2-4 drops to my gel moisturizer and I just always end up with a greasy layer on my face. I have very dry skin too so I couldn't imagine someone with oily skin using this. I've gave it months and months, tested it with different moisturizers, but I just don't know anymore. I know squalane should leave a layer, but for the most part that layer should be slightly absorbed. If you have a constant greasy layer on your skin all the time from using this then you will be more prone to acne most likely which I already suffer from. I still feel like this squalane oil is probably one of the better ones out there and also It's a plus that it's derived from sugarcane which I believe to always be better than olives since it will have less impurities that way.

I’ve been using this product daily. I’ve mixed it with my morning moisturizer and use it alone at night. I need to cut back during the day because my makeup tends to run a bit. However, at nights it’s super hydrating and I wake up with my skin soft and silky. I will continue to make this a part of my daily regimen.
