Picture of the chaos.....not one drop on the carpet..what witchcraft is this?!

A little graphic but we’re adults here for the most part. I have a 5 year old female rescue pup that is a saint when we’re home. But when we leave she will urinate and crap in one spot of carpet in the house. We believe that she was abused and neglected by her previous owners and we’ve tried every remedy online, crate training (she pees and poops in there too), went thru 4 veterinarians with full assessments, to animal behaviorist. Nothing works.

Most of the house is wood or tile floors and she must know that she needs to pick the hardest spot to clean in the house is the GD carpet. Then she eats her poop to hide the evidence, it stresses me out but I know she’s already a ball of anxiety so we stay calm and just woo-sah it away but I digress. These pee pads...omg has saved her from me going from bat crap crazy to “oh I’ll just toss this. No big deal.” Pee pads...keeping people from going crazy, one day at a time.

QUALITY CHANGED TO UNACCEPTABLE

Extremely disappointed. I use 2 pads at a time for a very small dog overlapping, thought I'd found a good dog pad. The 4th box I received the pads leak in the center. Completely leaks to the floor, not from run off, not on the edge, in the center. The gel is not solidifying like the other order pads did. It's a bad batch. Why can't any brand make a reliable dog pad? Will cancel auto delivery.
Received another bad batch. Next one if it is bad is going back. Tired of paying for low quality. completely leaks on the center not edges of the pad. The quality just has gone down hill.
UPDATE: Horrible quality. These SMELL TERRIBLE NO ODOR CONTROL.THEY RIP EASILY. THEY LEAK AND ARE NOT THE QUALITY THEY WERE FOR THE LAST 3 YEARS. LOOKING FOR ANOTHER BRAND. WILL NOT ORDER AGAIN. CHEAP PRICE AND CHEAP QUALITY.

The only pads my dog will use

I adopted a tiny 7 pound puppy mill rescue at the beginning of 2015, and it's been two years of accidents. She's avoided other pads like they're the plague. She can be let out and then still pee in the house 30 minutes later. We even have a doggy door she knows how to use, but considering she lived in a cage for 5 years, to her it's normal to go in the house. Dog trainers, food training, nothing has stopped her from using the ground or the rugs instead of the pads and we just got used to cleaning up 1-2 puddles and several solids a day.

Well, I put a few of these down and for the first time ever she's actually using them. She tends to miss sometimes when she pees but she's definitely drawn to it, and for the other she goes 100% of the time on them.

As others have said, they are a tiny bit smaller and definitely thinner than other brands. But for my small dog, it works great. However if you have a large dog you might need to put 2 down side by side, maybe even stack them so the bottom one can absorb anything else.

Yet these are a godsend for me. Two years of so many brands made me have no faith these would work and they actually do. Whatever the attractant is in it works better than anything I've found at pet stores or large retail stores.

Excellent dog pads

I have an 8 year old pug who never took to going potty outside, but prefers to stay paper-trained. I had been using the Glad brand black charcoal pads as the were the most affordable, but they were easily torn and kind of flew around as they were a bit thin. They recently went way up on their price, so I ordered these instead. What a pleasant surprise! These are much thicker, very absorbent and oddly he pees right in the middle of one pad instead of trying to hit as many papers as he could with the Glad ones. Very often I would have to throw 4 or more away at once, though if one only had a bit of pee in the edge I would trim it to save on papers. He really liked to pee in the corners where papers intersected. Not with these! I'm really happy about that as I am not going through them as quickly so I save more money. He doesn't tear these up either, they really are much more sturdy. I am just so glad I found these, and will be using them from now on.
Edit: Well sadly he decided he would aim for the intersections of these pads too, though he still hits only one pad at times. I guess that was too much to hope for!
Other than that, after using these for a few days now I find these pads to be sturdy and strong, and when he sometimes scratches the papers afterwards they do not rip at all. They do not leak either, they are strong and absorbent. These are truly the best quality dog pee pads I have found!

These puppy pads work great for housetraining. We have been using them since adopting a 1-year-old (<10 lbs.) dog from the shelter that was, presumably, never housebroken. She quickly took to using the pads to save our carpets. Although she has since gotten the hang of going outside, we still put them out at night in case she needs to relieve herself while we're asleep. The pads have never leaked onto the carpet, making clean-up a breeze. I also find the puppy-pads useful for cleaning up spills or to cover wet spots. Glad we have them readily available!

Great for my anxious cat

I have a cat with serious anxiety issues who has a habit of peeing in appropiate places - mostly in my basement. I put these down in her favored pee spots and it makes clean up and odor control much easier. At first she would paw them back but once she realized it wasn't necessary she stopped. She can now mark her territory and express her anxieties without ruining everything and stinking up the house. They may not work for a male cat who sprays but for my needs...

These ARE leakproof and the reviewers who say they are not must have animals peeing off the edges where it bleeds underneath. I put one of these pads through the wringer when I had to deep clean the corner of an area rug and didn't want to ruin my hardwood floors. I placed it underneath and used my hot water extraction spot cleaner (a must for cat owners with rugs) . In addition to the rug I had to saturate the fringe of a wool oriental carpet and scrub it heavily to clean it. The pad below didn't shred or give way at all and the floor beneath it was dry as a bone. I just placed an order for a larger quatity. These will likely end up in one of my autoship orders once I figure out how long a package will last.

I have an elderly cat that no longer wants to pee in the liter box. These pads are working great to keep my floor dry. With the aid of an outside door I put a tiny bit of the pad in the edge of the door step and shut the door so it holds in place for the scratching of attempting to cover up the mess. So far after going through half a pack they simply work, no leaks.

We just got a toy schnauzer she’s about 2 lbs. She’s great with using these peepads. We bought the smallest size and pack to try. We use the smallest Iris Peepad holder and they work great together. Our pup pees on them about 80% of the time we’ve had her a little over a week. Poops we’re still workin on as it’s hit or miss. No leaks. It does smell at first and there’s no scent on these to mask it but once it’s dries it’s fine. We let her pee on them about 3x before we swap out to a new one. We notice she tends to pee outside of it after that.

I’m using these for my rabbit, in addition to a small layer of Carefresh litter in a medium sized cat box. These aren’t the most absorbent pads I’ve used, but they do their job well enough and you get more pads for what you pay. I probably won’t need more for at least two months, maybe three.

As long as it’s changed out every few days this makes for easy clean up. No scooping required, and none of the typical gunk building up in the bottom of the box, as is the case with bunny boxes.

Some rabbits might chew the edges of the pads and eat pieces, which would be pretty bad, but my rabbit hasn’t shown any interest since I changed to this brand.

If you use these as a litter box liner, be careful that it doesn’t rip if the box contents get too wet and heavy. Change it often enough and it’s great.

If I was using these for a puppy, it’d need to be a pretty small puppy and I would put it over a towel or mat to better protect the floor.

If I put it in a pet carrier, I’d use it on a towel as well.

Overall, I’m pleased with this purchase!

I am glad to have given these puppy pads a try. I have three dogs and I have been using puppy pads for two. One is a puppy and the other is fourteen years old and has congestive heart failure. Her medicine means she spends some of her time in diapers and the rest of the time I rely on these pads. Both dogs pee on these pads with no problem and have saved me a lot of worrying. I am also particularly glad because I was worried the Amazon brand would not stand up to other brands I have used in the past. Fortunately, this brand is less expensive and works just as well. The pads are extremely absorbent and although the plastic seems thinner than some of the brands I have used before none of the fifty pads in the package have leaked. They also seem to absorb and reduce the smell which is an added bonus. I will definitely be ordering more of this brand for my future use.

When I used the first couple of pads, they did not protect the floor as I'd hoped. But Sophie was insistent in using the floor as her preferred potty spot that I decided to give them another try. I'm glad I did. Maybe the first few were defective; but since then, I've had no trouble. You can see in the first picture the urine spot. I lifted the pad to expose the floor underneath so you can see the dry floor that was beneath that pad. I'm happy to report that Sophie has learned how to use the pads - they really do work. I just purchased a second box also.

Potty pads can get expensive, but these from Amazon really did the job - at a much better price than other brands. My puppy had a tendency to sometimes pee at the *very* edge of the pad, but the pad held every time - even at the edges.

We used these pads for our pup's first 10 days at home as it was extremely cold/bad weather, our pup weighed 3 lbs and I wanted to give her an indoor option. I later moved a peed-on pad to our yard to help our pup understand the transition from pad to outdoors. She now goes outdoors every time and we have moved on from the pads, but I would strongly recommend these for those who use or need an indoor option.
