Picture of the chaos.....not one drop on the carpet..what witchcraft is this?!

A little graphic but we’re adults here for the most part. I have a 5 year old female rescue pup that is a saint when we’re home. But when we leave she will urinate and crap in one spot of carpet in the house. We believe that she was abused and neglected by her previous owners and we’ve tried every remedy online, crate training (she pees and poops in there too), went thru 4 veterinarians with full assessments, to animal behaviorist. Nothing works.

Most of the house is wood or tile floors and she must know that she needs to pick the hardest spot to clean in the house is the GD carpet. Then she eats her poop to hide the evidence, it stresses me out but I know she’s already a ball of anxiety so we stay calm and just woo-sah it away but I digress. These pee pads...omg has saved her from me going from bat crap crazy to “oh I’ll just toss this. No big deal.” Pee pads...keeping people from going crazy, one day at a time.

Extremely disappointed. I use 2 pads at a time for a very small dog overlapping, thought I'd found a good dog pad. The 4th box I received the pads leak in the center. Completely leaks to the floor, not from run off, not on the edge, in the center. The gel is not solidifying like the other order pads did. It's a bad batch. Why can't any brand make a reliable dog pad? Will cancel auto delivery.
Received another bad batch. Next one if it is bad is going back. Tired of paying for low quality. completely leaks on the center not edges of the pad. The quality just has gone down hill.
UPDATE: Horrible quality. These SMELL TERRIBLE NO ODOR CONTROL.THEY RIP EASILY. THEY LEAK AND ARE NOT THE QUALITY THEY WERE FOR THE LAST 3 YEARS. LOOKING FOR ANOTHER BRAND. WILL NOT ORDER AGAIN. CHEAP PRICE AND CHEAP QUALITY.

These are slightly bigger and the back plastic is thicker than Hartz brand. It holds a lot more liquid. I like how the border is wider also I'm buying again. In the photos the Amazon is the bigger one. Smaller one is the Hartz brand. The diamonds design on the white pad is the Amazon brand. I

Dark Side Up!!!

Feeling stupid, but just in case anyone else is as clueless sometimes... I’ve ordered Hartz Puppy Pads for years & they work well. But I wanted to find cheaper pads that are as good or better. Bought these after reading all the great reviews. But the mentions of carbon/charcoal went right past me. So i put these down white side up, same as the Hartz gel pads go. Then was shocked at the puddles of pee on them, even hours later. Couldn’t figure out how so many folks were praising them, so went back to reread their comments. FINALLY the lights came on! DUH!!! I turned the damn things over and fell in love! Well okay, that’s a bit dramatic, but right (dark) side up, they are wonderful! My elderly bichon’s “bathroom” area is cleaner looking & smelling for a much cheaper price.

Boy Am I Glad I Took A Chance On These!

I am so glad that I decided to take a chance and purchase these dog pads! First a little background info. I've been using disposable dog pads for about 7 years. I have 3 Chihuahuas that were originally trained to go outside. I used puppy pads to train them to go outside and once trained never bought them again. Unfortunately I was diagnosed 8 years ago with an illness that causes joint and muscle pain. So getting around sometimes was not an easy thing to do. I also live on the top floor with a lot of stairs. So getting out to walk my dogs was getting harder and harder to do. A kind friend and dog lover helped me to re train my dogs to use dog pads again so I wouldn't have to take them outside to use the bathroom 4-5 times a day. Now we go out once a day for a walk and fresh air. Because of my situation, I've tried every major brand name pad you can think of and even some off brands. I go through around 120-140 pads a month. I'd try one brand thinking I'd found the "one", then after awhile be disappointed by leaking, easily torn, not absorbent enough problems or the dreaded tracking of pee covered paws on the floor. Not to mention that some brands just didn't mask the urine odor very well. When I spied these Amazon basic pads, I have to admit that I was skeptical. Don't get me wrong, I love Amazon. I've been a happy customer for years. I've never tried their Basics line before tho. The word Basics brought to mind: generic. So yes I was skeptical. Id been down the generics road before, and we know how that usually turns out. The size was what made me decide to give them a try. I'd been looking for a larger pad to save money so I ordered a box. They arrived quickly with Prime shipping. Packaged in a conveniently smaller box than most brands that was easier to carry. They were enclosed in sealed plastic to keep them dry, a great idea. I can easily fold up the smaller cardboard box for recycling and stack the plastic wrapped unopened pads in a closet out of the way. The XL size is perfect! I can put 2 pads side by side to cover a larger area. So Im saving money as I only use around 80-90 pads a month now. The pads are super absorbent, the gel layer really helps to absorb and the top layer does a great job of keeping it dry. They are thicker and more quilted than most brands I've tried. There's no tracking of wet pee paws on my bathroom floor anymore. That saves me money on cleaners and paper towels to wipe up the paw prints. So for me these pads are perfect. Im using less pads now. I love the convenient packaging, the size is great, super absorbent, dry top layer to prevent tracking, great odor control and fast shipping with Prime. Also the price is good. I stock up when they go on sale to save even more money. So after 7 years I've finally found a dog pad that makes me, my wallet and most importantly fur babies happy. Unless they change them, I'm sticking with this pad. Thank you Amazon for a great product!

These are Great Carbon Puppy pads, and they're priced GOOD for being an 120/pack. I have 2 Adult Dogs and 6 Puppies and these pads have helped extremely with their potty training, I introduced these pads since birth and these have helped with Urine Ordor Control as the regular pads werent helping and were visually YELLOW.

The Carbon pads not only helped with the SMELL, but also were nice NOT to see YELLOW pee spots. I highly recommend these as they're a GREAT VALUE, and made just a little better than most brands(American & Chinese) tried from local stores. I also love buying these on prime, no shipping charges are such a savings! I would prefer American products, however these are a far better deal for the Price and Quality from China.

I've tried a few different types of pads before but these are by far my favourite. I did like a carbon one that was a more "high-end" brand but the cost was a deterrent. I recently switched to a larger puppy pad tray and these jumbo pads are perfect. They're actually bigger than the tray but can easily be folded and tucked under the trays edges. They absorb odours really quickly and well. My pup is a bit of a chewer so he still has days where he'll shred a pad but the mess is much less versus other pads. One pad usually can last between 12-24 hours which is perfect for minimizing waste.

I tried the smaller size NON carbon Amazon basic pads and i didnt like them I felt they were super cheap quality, but these are great. I have 2 big puppies so I have a section for them to go in emergencies, because these pads are XL the pad works better for large breed dogs. They are very thick and feel like high quality for absorbency (which they perform well) Because they are bigger pads I was worried about waste ,meaning if they only pee on small portion of pad you throw it away or have to cut off used part but this isn't a problem. The color is dark and the pad neutralizes smell so you can leave it down until he whole pad used, unless it's so soaked in this case you can cut off this part, but as I said not be been a problem so far. *Just a quick note , that if using prime and you chose the auto ship your delivery date changes from prime 2 days to whatever they set it as. I didn't catch this until after order placed and viewed a week to arrive I cancelled auto order and just did prime shipping. I have tried multiple brands now and these are by far the best. Also price per pad and factoring in the larger size is cheaper than most brands out there.

I decide the smell of dog pee was no longer tolerable in my home. No matter how quickly I picked up an accident, did the “waking Febreze” tour, or tried the enzymatic carpet shampoo — the smell was ever-present.

The compromise; pee pads. I tried ALL kinds in all sizes. Then I got a listing for carbon pet pads. I have a carbon filter on my air filter and one in my water filter. So I thought maybe these carbon pet pads could actually help my situation. Until I get a pet door installed, there will be pee. How I manage it is up to me.

I was surprised that these Amazon pee pads were thick, but not so much that it’s annoying. They seem to “suck” up the lees quickly. I have a “copy cat” second dog who pees over the other dogs pee. This can get messy of the pee of the first dog isn’t dry, and I’ll then have to wash the second dog’s feet. But with these carbon pads, the pees is drawn to s bottom layer and is nearly invisible.

Two dogs can pee multiple times on one XL large pad. In the evening, I sometimes lock my bedroom door. Now I just overlap two pads and they sometimes last two nights. No more rug accidents in my bedroom, which is a relief. And the smell is no longer an issue. Even my Dyson air purifier is reading “good air quality” now that I use these carbon pet pads.

I also love that the edges are thick and I have yet to experience and “overspill.” My favorite non-carbon pads are Wee Wee Gigantic size wee wee pads. If you look at the second image, you can see how one pee on a gigantic wee wee pad is completely visible, while the carbon pad hides multiple pees well since they are “drawn” in to a deeper level. The wee wee is great quality, but it can’t compete with the Amazon carbon pad. The amazon pad has a nice wide edge, whereas the wee wee pad only gives you and inch (see blue plastic) which sometime sticks under the pads. The Amazon plastic edges don’t stick and are wider so they help prevent spills on to the carpet.

The XL size are a dream. If they made gigantic size, I’d be even happier. I can’t recommend these enough. I have two beagles who drink lots of water and love to pee. No leaks with these carbon pads, even when hauling them to the trash. I’m actually giddy that I finally found the pads that work for my two beloved fur babies. It only takes took a day for them to transition from regular pee pads to these carbon ones. Use both during the transition and the dog will get the hint.
