Picture of the chaos.....not one drop on the carpet..what witchcraft is this?!

A little graphic but we’re adults here for the most part. I have a 5 year old female rescue pup that is a saint when we’re home. But when we leave she will urinate and crap in one spot of carpet in the house. We believe that she was abused and neglected by her previous owners and we’ve tried every remedy online, crate training (she pees and poops in there too), went thru 4 veterinarians with full assessments, to animal behaviorist. Nothing works.

Most of the house is wood or tile floors and she must know that she needs to pick the hardest spot to clean in the house is the GD carpet. Then she eats her poop to hide the evidence, it stresses me out but I know she’s already a ball of anxiety so we stay calm and just woo-sah it away but I digress. These pee pads...omg has saved her from me going from bat crap crazy to “oh I’ll just toss this. No big deal.” Pee pads...keeping people from going crazy, one day at a time.

Extremely disappointed. I use 2 pads at a time for a very small dog overlapping, thought I'd found a good dog pad. The 4th box I received the pads leak in the center. Completely leaks to the floor, not from run off, not on the edge, in the center. The gel is not solidifying like the other order pads did. It's a bad batch. Why can't any brand make a reliable dog pad? Will cancel auto delivery.
Received another bad batch. Next one if it is bad is going back. Tired of paying for low quality. completely leaks on the center not edges of the pad. The quality just has gone down hill.
UPDATE: Horrible quality. These SMELL TERRIBLE NO ODOR CONTROL.THEY RIP EASILY. THEY LEAK AND ARE NOT THE QUALITY THEY WERE FOR THE LAST 3 YEARS. LOOKING FOR ANOTHER BRAND. WILL NOT ORDER AGAIN. CHEAP PRICE AND CHEAP QUALITY.

Best of Pet Training pads I ever used in my 5 years of using Pee Pads for my dogs.

Why did I buy Pet Training Pads?
I have been using Pet Training Pads over 5 years now. I have 2 small toy dogs and they do business in the pads. When I first brought them home, it was a middle of winter where we had several feet of snow in the ground with really cold temperatures. So, I had to use the training pads. By the spring same, they both were already used to the pads. I have tried 'Training Pads' from various sources; i.e. local pet-shop, grocery stores, warehouse clubs and also few different brand name pads from Amazon.com. My 2 dogs are very spoiled. They would not use the Pad if it is dirty or wet. So, I have to change often and I used approx. 3-5 pads daily, I also don’t like to have soiled Puppy Pads lying around my house too long either. So, I purchase at least 10 boxes of 100 pads yearly, if not more.

What am I looking for when I buy Training Pads?
I am looking for large size to accommodate 2 dogs, made for good absorbent and leak free from the overflow at side of the pads.

Why did I buy this “AmazonBasics” Pet Training Pads?
One of the advertising photo shows AmazonBasics Pads 5 layer design, especially 3rd layer caught my eyes. It’s Polymer Core that turns liquid to Gel. Also size (28x34) is large enough for what I am looking for. I am new to AmazonBasics products, so I didn't know if quality will be good or not. But, I like the Amazon policy enough, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. If product is bad quality or didn't work out, I know Amazon will guarantee for refund. It’s risk free.

How is the quality of this pads?
In my 5 years buying Pet Training Pads (use average about 100 pads/monthly), I tried many brand name pads, various sizes and different price range. So, I know the quality when I see one. When I order this “Amazon Basics” Pet Training pads, I didn’t know how good it would work. What I saw and read online advertisement for this product looks good, but I wasn’t sure if it will hold the liquid as it said it would.
When I opened the box and I spread out the one of the pad. I can feel its quality. It’s almost like I am holding the cloth quilted pad and not disposable pad. It feels thick, and have cushion, but it is firm too.
As advertised, it holds liquid well. When liquid hits the pad, it goes down and spread at the bottom layers rather than spread at the top surface. So, my dogs like this. The surface is dryer than the other ones that I have been used.

Do I recommend this to other Pet Training Pad users?
Yes, I would recommend this to anyone without any hesitation. At least try once and see it yourself.

Any cons?
I can’t think of any yet.

Summary: This is the best quality Pet Training Pads I ever used in my 5 years of using the puppy pads and I will be buying this pads from now on. Each pads price isn’t the lowest, but it has good absorption, thus, it saves money in a long run.

My cat has an issue with litter. The puppy training pads are the answer. I spread them where she used to use he litter box and no problem! She uses about one a day and I exchange for a fresh one and no problems or accidents.

These are by far the BEST! Believe it or not, the ONLY LARGE ABSORBED pads that have worked were from the 99cent store! They went out of stock so I was stuck with pads from target/ Walmart. They were horrible and expensive. However, these are our NEW POTTY PADS for our chihuahua mix. We have hardwood floors and these are leak proof! I highly recommend! I will continue to buy these! Thanks for a great product!

We have newborn puppies we just adopted and they pee, a lot. We went to a well known chain pet store and bought small pads and they weren't large enough. We then bought the large pads and they were perfect in size, but you didn't get very much for how much you paid. Enter Amazon to the rescue!!! Once again, Amazon Basic products is exactly what you want for the price that makes sense. You get so many large puppy pee pads in this box and you don't hurt the wallet in the process. If you need pee pads, stop looking around; just stop. This is exactly what you need and at just the right price. They are large pads and not that thick at all. The thickness doesn't hint at the amount of pee the pads will hold as they do a great job of that! There is a large 2-3" edge around the pad which is great because we tape the pads to the floor with thick packaging tape so they pups don't bite at the edges and move it around the house.

I thought my dog and I had the best possible relationship before I purchased these pads. She loves them. I love them. Now we love each other a little bit more. She loves the large size so that no matter how many times she turns round and round she never gets her paws off the pads. I use two. Since she’s staying on the pad I don’t have to be on my hands and knees scrubbing/cleaning up missed messes. I never had to nor did I say anything when she missed but I could tell by the look in her eyes that she was embarrassed. They’re super absorbent so there’s no unsightly puddles or leakage. Plus when it’s time to cleanup it super easy, I just roll them up like a tucked burrito.

Best piddle pads I've tried and a reasonable price, especially with subscribe and save. We have an elderly dog who is sometimes incontinent and often forgets to go out before she really really needs to go bad and doesn't make it out the doggie door. So, we have piddle pads down inside the doggie door for misses. These are super absorbent and seem to lock in the odor somehow. Totally unscented - yay! One thing I especially like about these ones in particular is that somehow the are able to absorb pee that misses the pad nearby and goes underneath to help contain the spread. Other piddle pads I've tried don't do that at all and just end up a big drippy mess to clean up. But at the same time when my dog pees on top of the pads they don't leak through underneath. Not sure how that works but I like it. These are also nice and big so one can cover a larger area.

These are a very good quality pee pad and absorb well. After purchasing these I will still be buying mine at Costco because you can get twice the amount for even a little bit less. However, these Amazon ones are higher quality, a little bigger, and absorb more. It just depends on what you're looking for. I have used these to help train golden retriever pups and they work great, and I've also used them to down outside my cats' litter boxes to step on and to help avoid accidents (I have one cat who has kidney issues and goes a lot and sometimes misses the box or doesn't make it.). They hold a lot of urine.

Purchased for our grown, potty trained dogs for when we are away from the house for more than a few hours so they don't have accidents in the home when we're gone. These pads are super absorbent! My dogs have been using these pads since they were two weeks old. My oldest dog is sixteen. They use these pads religiously. There is no need for worrying about leakage, these pads are absorbent enough for multiple uses, and do not leak out while moving to the garbage can. These pads have been great. With four dogs using them at two different locations has seemed to worked the best for me. I place them side by side using two per location at a time. I have a subscription for two, 40 each, packages a month. I wouldn't use anything else.
