Picture of the chaos.....not one drop on the carpet..what witchcraft is this?!

A little graphic but we’re adults here for the most part. I have a 5 year old female rescue pup that is a saint when we’re home. But when we leave she will urinate and crap in one spot of carpet in the house. We believe that she was abused and neglected by her previous owners and we’ve tried every remedy online, crate training (she pees and poops in there too), went thru 4 veterinarians with full assessments, to animal behaviorist. Nothing works.

Most of the house is wood or tile floors and she must know that she needs to pick the hardest spot to clean in the house is the GD carpet. Then she eats her poop to hide the evidence, it stresses me out but I know she’s already a ball of anxiety so we stay calm and just woo-sah it away but I digress. These pee pads...omg has saved her from me going from bat crap crazy to “oh I’ll just toss this. No big deal.” Pee pads...keeping people from going crazy, one day at a time.

Extremely disappointed. I use 2 pads at a time for a very small dog overlapping, thought I'd found a good dog pad. The 4th box I received the pads leak in the center. Completely leaks to the floor, not from run off, not on the edge, in the center. The gel is not solidifying like the other order pads did. It's a bad batch. Why can't any brand make a reliable dog pad? Will cancel auto delivery.
Received another bad batch. Next one if it is bad is going back. Tired of paying for low quality. completely leaks on the center not edges of the pad. The quality just has gone down hill.
UPDATE: Horrible quality. These SMELL TERRIBLE NO ODOR CONTROL.THEY RIP EASILY. THEY LEAK AND ARE NOT THE QUALITY THEY WERE FOR THE LAST 3 YEARS. LOOKING FOR ANOTHER BRAND. WILL NOT ORDER AGAIN. CHEAP PRICE AND CHEAP QUALITY.

I had this same problem before. I order them and they are fine, then I keep ordering them and the switch to a lower made material. I'm tired if this. They were thick and never ran to the blue edge, now they do. If the dogs ripped them there were tons of beads which are the absorption, now nothing also the box is less heavy and finally I can pull them out of the box and my finger goes right through them. You keep doing this over and over, you also screwed my on ink. If this is the way Amazon is going, good luck , people might order at different places. I'm so angry you pulled this AGAIN. I just ordered a different one, let's see if this is the original I ordered. Last thing I enjoy is being CONED. If you check im not a $10 buyer i use amazin very often for years. Now I'm angry. Let's see tomorrow if you pull this again with the "new version " update, received new ones and my finger went right through. NOT THICKER material! returning. make them like use to be!

Yes there are obviously cheaper wee wee pads for your dog but as we all know, they leak right through. I was skeptical on getting these at first because I’ve used other brands from Petco and they leak right through but I’ve been very surprised, I’ve been using them for a month for my 30 pound pitbull puppy (who’s still growing and will be around 50-60 pounds fully grown) and these haven’t leaked through when he uses them. I see other reviews that say they’re terrible and leak through but I haven’t had that problem. Yes the pee obviously looks gross and disgusting on the pads, but as you see from the 2 pictures I posted with my review here that it didn’t leak through the pad or onto my floor, it just looks really bad and soaked up a lot of his urine, BUT NOTHING LEAKS THROUGH. I would definitely recommend these pads and will be purchasing these again in the future. I only use these pads and the Glad charcoal Jumbo pads for my boy, and those are the only brands I use for him now after trying about 6 different wee wee pad brands, the amazon basics brand and glad are the only two brands that don’t leak with how heavy of a flow my dog urinates. Only thing I wish amazon did was make them in black like the glad charcoal brand so the pee wouldn’t be visible and gross looking (obviously any white wee wee pad will show pee stains, the glad ones are black so they don’t show any yellow stains and make them look cleaner even when soiled by your dog.) other than that issue of how disgusting they look when soiled, they absolutely do the job and do not leak through from my experience using them for a month now.

I have older dogs. The female takes Meds because she has mild spay incontinence (doesn’t void her bladder - sometimes she drips in her sleep) and my boy will randomly have bad dreams where he literally pees a bit. They sleep on my bed. I put these, overlapping each other, to cover every part of the bed my dogs sleep on and tuck a large flat sheet in, on top of them (and the bed) to hold them in place. I haven’t tested with large amounts of fluid but anything that doesn’t have full on plastic backing (these don’t), probably couldn’t hold a lot of fluid for very long before seeping through. Most puppy pads at this point, have this same backing so I’m not knocking these at all. They’re a large size and thick enough - I think if one of my dogs fully peed, as long as I caught it shortly after, that they’d absorb it all and not leak thru. But you must overlap - if a dog voids their bladder while laying on a corner - there’s nowhere else to go, but off the mat. So be strategic in placement of using for older dogs. My dogs are big, not small, and I’d trust these for accidents. For now, they’re perfect for the odd drips - I change out with a news one, wash the top sheet with bleach and we’re good to go. If for puppy training - these will be great! Large size and definitely absorbent enough for small bladder voiding. I love the amount, too. As long as Amazon keeps selling these at this price, I’ll continue to purchase. Recommend!

I am like others on here in that I have been buying puppy pads for many years and just found these. My 4.5 lb Maltese is 11 years old and does not go outside to do her business. The little princess uses about 3-4 pads a day and it has been a struggle to find pads that are consistently good. I have found many brands over the years that start out great and then they change the product, I assume to cut costs, and then they start leaking and falling apart.

These XL heavy duty pads from Amazon seem to be great. They are thicker than the Thxpet ones i have been using recently. (Which, again...started out great and the last couple of cases I bought leak)

If Amazon is reading these reviews, i beg of you DO NOT CHANGE THE PRODUCT!. I am hoping since these are being made for your brand that you will control the quality.

Good Puppy Pad

These puppy pads work very well. We are using them for a senior dog that sleeps in a crate at night. He started having trouble holding his bladder and was peeing the crate every night. The pads are such a blessing because we can now simply pull the pad out and put in a new one instead of cleaning the crate every time. They are absorbent, and we have not had any problem with them leaking.

Our dog is a Pom-Chin, medium sized. These hold all of his pee without leaking. On a side note, for those who have a senior dog with this problem. We found that using a male dog diaper helps deter him from peeing in the crate. So, there are many days now when his crate is dry as long as we take him out in a reasonable amount of time. However, if he does have an accident, the diaper itself rarely catches the pee. Instead, it goes to the pad. So, the combination has made things much easier, as before we were constantly cleaning his crate.

Ok, I have a small cockapoo four years old and was easy to house train. This pup was purchased from a breeder and after four years of "buyig a dog" guilt and shaming I decided I want two dogs and the second to be a rescue.

I rescued a one yer old mix who is beyond sweet but likes to pee. And everywhere. I worked hard for a few months and finally got her to be 90% broken and then to my horror my bought dog started marking on top of every rescue accident. Lord I was in despair.

The good thing was by now both were using the same spot where I kept old towels that I sprayed off on my deck and then washed. I thought damn there must be a better way. So I went to my Amazon and discovered these pads.

I bought the largest heavy duty. I first put one out on the towel and lo and behold both dogs used it the first night. Then no matter where I moved it they searched it out. Next I moved it to the deck and put them out at night and in the morning. The head for the pad in a bee line. I don't know what the attraction is but it works.

Buy a pack of these and try them. I sincerely hope your experience will be as good as mine. I must add that now both pups are trained to outside (I have large property and person that picks up) and without the pad. These pads were a godsend. Good luck and don't give up.

Best Wee Wee Pads Ever

These are the best pads I have ever used. They open easily, they are substantial in size, and their absorbency is fantastic. I have tried eight (yes, 8!) different brands with varying promises of absorbency and quality and in various sizes. I’ve spent upwards of $1.00 per pad and can say with all sincerity that these are the best for our family. We have been housebreaking a large (and stubborn) male German Shepard puppy and dealing with incontinence for two of our elderly Corgis (despite medicine to help with incontinence). I have tried to save money on pads by buying less-expensive pads in bulk only to be disappointed in their absorbency and aggravated in the level of difficulty in opening each pad. The sizes of these pads go well with a smaller pad if you are covering a large area.

I bought these for my potty trained dog. Who for some reason, when I leave for work, always thinks I'm leaving for forever. So in the 2-3 hours between when I leave and when his walker comes, he'll decide to take a poo all over my bathroom floor. Which is fine since it's hard flooring, but he'll actively decide to do it on the rugs and not the floor.

I tried using these pads to cover the rugs and the rest of the bathroom floor so that I don't have to clean and sanitize every day after work. But they've become more of a deterrent as I suspect he's scared of them.

So while they haven't been used to potty train or even for any kind of waste, they've saved me 30 minutes of my day.
