Directions

Place the puppy pad on the floor with protective, leak-proof plastic side down and cotton side up. Introduce your pet to the puppy pad by setting him/her on top of the pad. Your pet will smell proprietary natural additive known to attract dogs. If your pet relieves itself elsewhere, immediately return him to the puppy pad as a reminder where he should go. Replace soiled pad as necessary.

I’ve been very happy with these pads. I’ve read some other reviews which were negative, but that has not been my experience. I initially started with a fresh grass patch delivery, my puppy did well with that and now we’ve transitioned over to these Solimo pads because they’re cheaper and take up less space. My puppy is 11lbs. I’ve had no problem with leaks. The pads are thin, but quite absorbent (my dog took quicker to the pads than the grass —mush be the scent?) The ultimate goal is to be completely house broken; however, I feel confident knowing my puppy will use these if I’m not home, or can’t take him out quick enough. I purchased the charcoal regular size, as they are out of the charcoal XL. I always put two or three regular pads down, overlapping them, as my dog sometimes likes to go right on the edge— for whatever reason when there is a larger area he’s more likely to go in the middle of it. Idk if there is a difference between the color of the products, but I’m sticking with the charcoal because I think it looks better on the floor. Comparing these to several brands/products for adult incontinence —which I’ve used caring for a sick family member and I know people often use for dogs— these are definitely more absorbent and they absorb the smell of the urine too. If I know the dog wet on the pad, I change it as soon as possible, but I know one pad has held up to being urinated on twice with no problem. There is a thin layer of plastic on the edge after the white strip that you have to open up when using, but I’ve had no problems with this laying flat. It’s more of a nuisance that it’s an extra step to unfolding the pad. I’m on my third box, will definitely buy again. I do wish the they would stock the XL in charcoal, as it’s been sold out since I started using these.

I bought these for my 13 year old pug to use during my long days at work. She can no longer make it the 8 - 9 hours I am gone. I used a different brand before these and the pee seemed to run off the side and get on the floor. These are much more absorbent and make for a easy clean up. Both my old lady dog and I appreciate them.

I would not have written a review but I couldn't help myself. Maybe the people that think they are not absorbent enough need to realize they have to be changed on a regular basis. I have a seventeen pound Shih-Poo that will be eight in July. I have always used puddle pads. I do walk with him quite a bit and he does water everything when we walk. He has been sick and has a fever. Yes, I took him to the vet. My point is, he has been using the pads a lot the past couple of days. He has used other pads but I bought these recently and am very pleased. I have tried Walmart, Sam's Club, and other Amazon vendors. I think these are the best. I can tell the difference. I like two pads down for one dog. A dog likes to walk while having a bowel movement and this provides ample room. If you have two dogs, one pad will not be sufficient for long. I usually have two down and will change them in the morning and at night. At times, I may change more often. My dog also goes to the puddle pads if he can make it if he throws up. I can tell the difference because I have used many brands over several years. These are my choice.

I have been using the same brand puppy pad for years but decided to give a new brand a try and found this on Amazon...I read the reviews and was a little hesitant, but man do these things work! They feel very thin, but they hold a TON of liquid. My dog actually uses these instead of the bare floor! Try them for yourself! You will not be disappointed!

These advertise holding 6 cups of "water". I don't know about their testing procedures, but their results are FALSE! Our 2 Chihuahuas that weigh only 7 lbs made these add leak.
ALSO... These are NOT 26X30! They MIGHT Measure 25x29 IF the 2 inches of Blue Edging is Completely Unfolded ALL the Way Around.
BEWARE!! These pads are as thin as the 17x17 pads we bought when our Chihuahuas were puppies!

We purchased it on Nov 2020 and like our first order with it. So we decide to Subscribe it for long term use. I just start to use the new one which I received on Dec 2020 from the SUBSCRIPTIONS. Then I compare the old one and the new one. Visually you can tell the color different. Then when you touch it you can feel it is only half thin compare to the old one. And the quality looks really cheap. And for this kind of item you have no choice for return. I advice is DO NOT SUBSCRIBE IT if you really want it. You may get the good quality one. Good luck with it.

My doggie is urinary incontinent because of his advanced age and kidney health, and he wears belly wraps all the time, so I can't speak too much to the absorbency or leak proofing. I use these to line his bed area and give him a place indoors to have a poo because he won't go when I take him outdoors due to vision problems and maybe some anxiety about being in a new place. The pads are affordable and do a great job for the way we use them. They don't tear or shred easily when walked on (or rolled around on, which my doggie loves to do), and the one time I spilled my dog's water dish the pad just sucked it right up, even though the spill had to be at least 16 ounces. Will be buying these again, and would recommend them.

Second order of this item. First order’s pads were thick and very absorbent. I was pleased and therefore reordered the same item for my next order. My second order was supposedly the same item but pads are much thinner - you can see through them!! Much less absorbing - liquid does not gel like first order. VERY DISAPPOINTED! Will not be purchasing again!
