Doesn't glow in the dark

I thought this would be helpful for the dark. But unless you have it sit under a very bright light all day it will not glow at all in the dark. It needs light and then it only glows dimly for a fraction of time. So that was pointless. For the price, definitely not worth it. There are others that fit the same remote for half the price. Also the glow in the dark shows a 2 tone color of blue and neon green. I thought it would be those colors. It is actually an almost transparent blue. It's supposed to get neon green I guess when it glows. But it has never ever gotten that bright.
Completely a waste of money for what I wanted it for. The remote has been lost numerous times since purchase as it doesn't glow in the dark.

Don't lose your fire remote again

I bought a new Toshiba Fire TV last fall which comes with the fire remote of course. Its such a sleek remote and it being black as well, so very easy to slip into the couch or chair and never to be seen again. Or ya know, just sitting on the table but it blends so well very hard to see. So I chose this remote cover and it does exactly what I need it to do, fit perfectly, now it stands out so I can spot it more easily, and the texture makes it easier to grip and harder to slip into couch and chair creases. Haven't lost it again yet.

This little red number made my new remote sleek and very easy to keep track of!
With the silicon, the darn remote never slides off the table into a waste basket, off the arm of my chair onto the floor. It stays right where I put it.

I had trouble finding a cover that fit my Insignia's remote but this one fit perfectly. My TV is a NS-32DF310NA19.

I would prefer chartreuse or a similarly garish color so it stands out like a sore thumb, but this light blue is the brightest I could find and so far it's been turning up. I, um, tend to shuffle things around and cover up the remote or move it to a spot that it's no longer immediately visible the next time I look for it. Can't do much if it's covered but chartreuse is easy to spot if its not.

Some reviews said it wasn't glow in the dark but I've had mine for months now and it still glows.. and I don't give it special treatment either (putting it in a windowsill or by a light) like other reviews said.. it's not a freaking light bulb but I can still see it when it's on the floor or under my bedding.. and it did fit my remote

I really like this cover. 1. It helps with your grip on the remote. I haven't dropped it since I got the cover! 2. I love the glow in the dark feature. You have to make sure that you set the remote with the cover on under a light or near a window with natural light coming in. The cover then gives a nice greenish glow in the dark, and it is easier to find. I highly recommend this product.
