Thinner than regular Manila folders

These are not really thick, maybe like 80lb cardstock thickness. They do work really well for what I need them, which is extra protection for my cake toppers during shipping. What I do is gather 2 folders, trim about 1/5 of the first folder and about 1/2 of the second folder, then fold the score lines to give the packaging a bit of depth to help prevent squishing down on the design. Then tape down the cake topper in a 8.5"×11" extra heavy cardstock sheet, put it inside a clear 9"×12" bag and tape the folders around it. Makes the packing much sturdier while keeping the shipping weight within 4oz.

I used to always buy my legal folders from Sams, but lately they stopped carrying them, and I found that they were also not in stock at Costco or Wal Mart, and I usually don't make it to Staples too much, so I thought I would try Amazon. These are an awesome bargain. They might be slightly thinner than some I've bought before, but more than adequate. Also, the tabs are assorted, even though I thought they were all going to be in one place, but I didn't want to spend the extra money for "assorted", or whatever they call it. I think I'll just keep getting my folders from Amazon now!
