These are sturdier than I thought. They hold up pretty well too. Worth they buy. I'm 136lbs and can sit in the chair without weakening or breakage my husband sat in one chair he's 215lbs and nothing happened. As for the desk stay off. Only holds a few soft lbs before bending. We tested the weight for our kids so nothing happens to them in a dangerous way. So they do hold up pretty well. But do limit the books and other school heavy objects inside the desk will bend it.

My daughter has finally gotten old enough to have a real computer in her room to play Minecraft and Roblox with her friends. She helped me build her a NUC and really loud Blue Switch mechanical keyboard with EPIC GAMER LIGHTS!!! (her emphasis, not mine. She's seven). We got this desk and chair set refurbished and set it up in about an hour. sized just right for her and sturdy enough that I wasn't worried that it was going to topple once she starts bouncing in the seat while throwing folks off cliffs in Humans Fall Flat (once again, Seven.) Had some slight nicks on the legs but it's sure to get more beat up as she uses it to do homework or sticker bomb it as the next few years go by. Great buy for the tiny gamer in your life.

Nice set. Perfect for a five year old. Assembly was not too bad. Some of the screws had stickers on the packages distinguishing the sizes, but they fell off so I had to figure out what was what but I managed. I gave it four stars for assembly because they sent the wrong part to the chair, so I had to attach it the best way that I could. After I assembled the chair, The part that the nails go in was on the outside of the chair. I knew sending it and getting a new one back would take forever so I put it together the best way I could.

Cheap, do not recommend! I bought 2 of these! One has a crack in it and the other a stain on it but now it’s so near to Christmas, what do we do?
Terrible!
Ended up getting 3 of these to make 2 of them and still a piece of crap! How they can even let them go out of a factory like this is way beyond me!

This did not come with the hardware it was supposed to and what did come with it didn't fit. Fortunately I have someone who can fix it but it really is a cheap piece of furniture. Not worth the money at all.
