I got this AmazonBasics Mini USB 2.0 cable to use with my Blue Yeti Microphone and it works great!
(the original Yeti cable was damaged and after checking the Blue site-any 2.0 mini USB cable will work- so I ordered this AmazonBasics cable).

The microphone is attached upside down to a Supon swivel arm & Auphonix aluminum shock mount (both bought here on Amazon)-the AmazonBasics USB cable runs up from the Yeti along the arm and down to my USB hub, attached with a couple of velcro straps -6' is the perfect length.

I'm always needing longer USB cables so I actually bought two of these cables.

Love the AmazonBasics products!

My gps stopped recognizing the factory usb charger cable that came with the GPS from two years ago. I don't know why, just one day it said I needed to plug in the cable that came with the unit because the cable plugged into it wouldn't charge it. That's BS because it's the same cable I've always used without issue. Odd. But this Amazon basics cable works perfectly and I didn't have to pay Garmin prices. This new cable is physically thicker than the stock cable. I drive an oil truck that bounces around all night. I don't usually have good luck over time with thick cables because the added weight bounces around and I end up having connection problems with my electronics eventually. Time will tell.
UPDATE:
Ten months later and the cable is still working perfectly. Definitely recommended 👍

AmazonBasics products deliver once again!
My background is in the IT industry for 2 decades in a 3rd level capacity since 2005.
I bring up the previous statement because when you know someone has the experience when reviewing a said product in their said field of expertise, their review tends to hold more weight.
That said, I went out on a limb a few years ago and tried out AmazonBasics cables and other AmazonBasics products for my IT needs at home.
I didn't get my hope up too high being new to AmazonBasics items. However, I was more than satisfied upon receiving my first AmazonBasics
USB cable a few years ago. They are not only very reasonably priced, but, solidly built products and shielded nicely, not cheap feeling or looking.
I highly recommend AmazonBasics products no matter which type of product they advertise for sale.
Why? Solid products for a more than fair price....A win-win for both parties. what more can one ask for? Really.

I bought this set to replace some old miniusb cables for a stream setup. They should connect a Blue Yeti microfone, an Elgato capture card and a dslr. None of those devices connected however, some were not seen by win 10 at all and some were connecting and disconnecting every 10 seconds. Unusable.
I had to use my old cables and put this set away, wanted to return them but with the current situation I won't risk a trip to the post office to get a few £ back. Garbage!

No longer a common or much used form of USB cable although selected devices still use it and it is popular for use with ranges of products from certain brands, e.g. Brother tape and paper label printers.

The "Amazon Basics USB 2.0 A-Male to Mini-B Cable 1.8 m / 6 Feet" is required to replace an OEM-supplied cable that is no longer functional. It is possible for connections in the very fine cabling required to include one or more 'dry' joints or one or more to be improperly soldered so that repeated flexing at a particular point of a cable may be sufficient to break the solder junction; there is no easy means to validate or repair only to replace!

The cabling in this seems to be thicker than that employed in similar cables previously purchased, possibly it has a thick sleeve. It should be quite wear-resistant when repeatedly used.

A great many AmazonBasics cables were purchased over time, in a variety of formats and for many functions, many of which are in daily or very regular use; some are infrequently used and a few exist as personal spares or as part of an 'emergency cable kit' that is often carried on client visits as a means to isolate or resolve reported issues. Those then used are replaced ASAP and beneficially billed to the client.

Update from my earlier review: This looks and feels a good quality product, but sadly was disappointing. The mini USB plug was badly fitting and caused problems on at least two devices. The last straw was when the firmware update to my dashcam crashed because the mini USB connection kept failing. Maybe I just received a bad one, but I have now scrapped this cable. Other mini USP plugs work perfectly with the same devices.

My last wire for my hard drive gave up on me and saw this one but this is better than my last wire it's thicker and sturdier than my last one and is longer than my last one it's completely perfect I'll buy another at some point as a replacement/back up I can now watch my favourite films and programmes on my hard drive when there is nothing on the TV.

This wire is a great buy and well worth the money I would recommend to anyone a price of advice check your connection before buying so you know your buying the right one. Does the job. People pay more for interconnects either for the quality of the wire between the connectors, or for the quality of the connectors themselves. Since I bought this for a satnav, the former consideration is irrelevant, but for the quality of connectors, these are average, and not the nice firm grip you usually get from more expensive alternatives. It wouldn't normally matter, but the cable to my satnav goes in at the bottom, so gravity is working against me. Don't get me wrong, the cable stays in place, but it doesn't take much effort to pull it free, annoying if you catch the cable accidentally. But for most applications I'm sure this cable will be just fine.
