Rich, chocolatey, naturally sweet. I make faux hot chocolate & hot fudge with it. It's sweeter & less bitter than cocoa powder. I don't add sugar when making it as a hot beverage. Also a plus that is caffeine free. I can give it to my toddler without being afraid of him getting a caffeine buzz. One thing to note is that it does sink to the bottom of my cup. I stir it alot & still have sediment at bottom of cup, which isn't really a problem. It just merits me filling my cup up with more hot water or milk. Like cocoa powder it doesn't mix easily in cold liquid. Use a blender if making cold. It's also delicious in fudge.

The product tastes wonderful! I used it ti make a hot "chocolate". It was still a little grainy because it wasn't made for it but it still tasted wonderful. The only thing about the packaging is it was a bit difficult to get the ziploc to stay fully zipped all the way. I had to shake out the powder a bit to be able to push it in to fully lock/close. I was close to putting it into a different container but I made it work :) but yes for a chocolate replacement because of my allergy to chocolate, this is 10/10 to me :) love it!

I hate anything carob. You think you are biting into chocolate and BAM that nasty brown fakeness grabs ahold of your tastebuds laughing at me the whole way down my gagging throat....HOWEVER this brand was not so bad. Had a special carob request for a dessert, and was pleasantly surprised how it tasted. Good Job Anthony's 👍

This makes GREAT chocolate milk and hot coco with marshmellows. That is the one thing that my husband missed when the doctor told him to remove all chocolate from his diet and his migraines would go away. We came up with Carob and it really works. I have been cutting out caffiene and have a small chocolate addiction. This stuff gives me the flavor i love without the caff. I made chocolate no bake cookies with it and they were phenomenal...i made cocoa with it and wasnt the biggest fan. It is naturally sweeter so watch how much sugar you add when subbing cocoa!
