- Caputo then created the perfect solution after studying pizza makers and pastry chef needs - No chemicals, long shelf life,
- Caputo Yeast has a certain fermentative power, has a sure and measurable force, pushes over time and does not collapse. Moreover, it dies completely at 58 ° C unlike chemical yeasts which, apart from collapsing if left to ferment too much, do not die during cooking, causing digestion fatigue. Caputo Yeast is also naturally gluten-free and therefore suitable for all preparations that do not.

This yeast kicks the behind of my previous yeast. My usual Italian bread came out lighter, airier, and had a great "thump." The texture was improved using the Caputo yeast, and I'd be willing to continue purchasing this yeast as long as I'm able to actually find it.

Spesso i lieviti freschi del supermercato mi hanno causato tante difficoltà....vuoi perché chissà come erano stati mantenuti (fuori frigo) dal supermercato vuoi perché spesso anche prima della scadenza si presentano un pò mollicci e non si scagliano come dovrebbe fare un ottimo lievito fresco!!!
Insomma azzerate questo problema e state sereni....la sua funzionalità va ben oltre i 2 mesi dall'apertura, in quel caso però consiglio sempre di verificarne la sua efficacia con un pò di acqua tiepida e una puntina di zucchero.


Con 100 gr dura a lungo! inoltre la confezione con coperchio è molto funzionale invece che le bustine che poi non sai mai come chiiudere. Facile anche da dosare con gli appositi misurini, sono molto soddisfatta, ormai comprerò solo questo!
