You *almost* got this right! SO CLOSE! But, ya should have stopped at olive oil. Why, oh WHY would you add sunflower oil when you are marketing to a group that most definitely caters to keto diets or at least a health driven lifestyle which does not include low quality oils?? I get that sunflower oil is cheaper. However I just paid top dollar for this variety pack and I think I deserve olive oil and only olive oil.
Most noticeably though is the complete lack of sesame tahini. Traditional hummus is made of 2 main ingredients: Garbanzo (chickpeas) AND tahini. Tahini is low carb and adds to the creaminess which is noticeably lacking in these products!! I know that a low carb hummus cannot contain garbanzos but it certainly CAN have the tahini. Why take both of those from us? Not to mention tahini is shelf stable too, just like other nut and seed butters. I have not been able to enjoy your "spreads" without adding my own tahini to them. Which, is a job I do NOT want to do considering Brami is pricy enough to hit the nail on the head. I am busy and really would love to buy a pre made hummus that fits into my keto way of eating. But sadly I won't buy or recommend your product unless you correct these two big problems. I can't understand anyone saying these are any good. They certainly haven't had any properly made hummus before. This is too easy to be messing this up! C'mon guys, do better!
I admit that my family still hates it.
However, due to the fact that it is non refundable, I decided I would eat it anyway because it is expensive and I hate to waste.
After eating it for the past few days, I have realized the flavor is great. It has no fake taste like some of the storebought brands do.
However, for those of you who have issues with texture, be aware the texture is not smooth. This doesn't bother me but it would bother many people.
All 4 flavors are good, and I cannot say I really have a favorite.
If you are committed to healthy eating, try it!
First, a bit of background. I really love hummus but am allergic to products derived from sesame seeds. That includes sesame oil (Chinese food) as well as tahini (traditional hummus)! What a bummer! For quite a while, I have been trying to find hummus that does not include tahini. I have found only one product, which is made by Majestic. However, it is rarely available online and very difficult to find even local stores. In a recent Google search for “no tahini hummus,” I came upon BRAMI’s Lupini Bean Hummus, which is a product of Italy.
I had never heard of Lupini beans and did a bit of research. They are similar to fava beans in size and shape, but more closely resemble soy beans in taste and texture. Yet they are almost void of any starch and low in carbohydrates. They are highly nutritious and incredibly high in protein, second only to the soybean. In fact, they have the full range of essential amino acids. They also offer a generous amount of fiber and vitamins. Lupini beans can be extremely bitter and very toxic if not prepared properly. However, they can be quite tasty after a lengthy soaking period. And, that certainly is the case with BRAMI hummus.
BRAMI hummus is absolutely delicious!! But it has a unique flavor with no resemblance to traditional hummus. There are several flavors. My preference is the original flavor, which is less spicy than some of the others although all of them are quite tasty. Individuals who are particularly health conscious should be aware that BRAMI hummus is not USDA Organic although it is Non-GMO Verified, which is a good thing. Also, the triangle on the bottom of the plastic container does not have a number. However, I contacted BRAMI and was informed the containers and lids are made of plastic (#1, #5) that are BPA-free. You are in for a real treat. It will difficult not to eat an entire container in one sitting!
My only concern with it is the pricing, its expensive, although you do get a decent amount, for a condiment its pretty up there. The canister is bigger than I expected, which is good. I use it daily and still only used half within a month. Could stand to drop a few $, but then again, this is the quality stuff. If you're not concerned with prices this is the stuff to get!!!
I personally use this on egg white and/or non processed turkey burgers, its perfect.
Top it off with greek yogurt and its a complete meal. (greek yogurt tastes just like sour cream with the right things, it goes AMAZING with this spicy hummus, i probably wont try the others)
Edit: I wasnt given anything free or discounted anything to write this, apparently, we need to clarify that these days lol. But ya no joke, this stuff is healthy and tastes really good, just be prepared to pay for what you get, this stuff delivers and replaces a lot of otherwise bad condiments you may be using.
Even at this price, Ill definitely be rebuying. Even though its a complaint of mine, you wont find this quality elsewhere, so they have a nice handle on pricing it out like this too.

This stuff is amazing!
If you are expecting it to taste exactly like chickpea and tahini based hummus you will probably be disappointed?
But its really close in flavour and tastes amazing and I for one will definitely be ordering more!
Long live Brami!
