I used this product which is also known as NISHADER for a chest cold. I am not giving medical advice and use as your own discretion. I took a very small teaspoon of this combined in honey (do not smell or inhale this - combine well with honey). I am more sure if I had the Rona or a chest cold but wasn’t feeling well for three weeks. This may have helped. Wish I ordered sooner to know if it actually did.

Ammonia Smell Is Strong

I bought this to try in a couple of recipes after seeing it in the ingredient list for one of my favorite store-bought shortbread cookies. The smell is VERY strong when you open the bag and while you're cooking. If the cookie is too thick or if you use too much, some of the smell remains after cooking. I couldn't tell any benefit in crispiness, so I probably won't use the rest of the bag or get it again, unless I find a recipe where it really makes a difference.

This product is meant for cookies, crackers, and other thin baked goods; however, I used it to make milk paint to be used on clay rendered walls inside the house I am building. It worked very well as the caustic agent when mixed with casein powder, water and pigment. Our bedroom came out a beautiful purple as you can see in the photo.
