Seriously Amazon? English Only? AND Only CC?

I swear this is on purpose... and it's absolutely ridiculous, but why the heck do companies only get the "Dubbed" crap? Sometimes it's fine... but in this movie It felt like there were a few voice actors who were given scripts and then they just read their lines at a table. The tone in their lines did not match the tone the movie is trying to set, and so awkward it completely ruins the movie.

Seriously, this movie would have been 10x better in the original language, with the actors voices that were selected to play each role by the original director. Amazon and other companies need to stop this garbage. It's stupid, pointless, and ends up causing the movie to get a much lower rating than it honestly deserves. For example, I would have given this 4 stars, but had to take off a star for the crap dubbing and overall poor licensing choices by Amazon.

I'll wait for the original language and SUBTITLES (NOT CC!!)

Terrible dubbing, script and acting.

If I had payed attention to the fact that this movie was Russian dubbed in English ( very bad and off putting English) I would never have rented it. Oh well my bad. But it was really bad anyway. The script, acting...everything about this movie is sadly one star. I love b grade sci fi and will like some terrible movies. Not this one. Please don’t waste your money.

Great SciFi

I don't care what the other reviews said, this was a pretty good SciFi show. It's Russian, but who cares. It's neat to see some foreign films and see how others write scripts. I liked it.

Recipe for Entertaining Sci-fi Movie

Combine 1 heap of nifty, future tech + a dozen surprising visuals + 2 light genocides + more civilians killed than Superman Man of Steel + 2 inappropriate kisses + 1 very inappropriate fart joke. Make sure to have no 1 leading character throughout and bake until done.

The dubbing isn't bad at all. The Movie is great. It looks like they had a pretty big budget for this film.

A can't miss if you're a Sifi fan.

Better than what Hollywood makes now.

Kind of amazing that Russian films have less propaganda in them than American films now. If you want to watch an action movie for ENTERTAINMENT instead of having a bunch of Woke SJW weirdos scream in your face for 2 hours then you will probably like this movie.

Hear that Hollywood? I would seriously rather watch a dubbed Russian film than anything you will ever produce again. The future of film appears to be foreign.

Not worth to rent

There was bad acting, random scenes, " why do you have to tell me he got shot and the specific medical evaluation DURING A FIRE FIGHT???!?" how does the reporter not know they killed those bums? She was 2 seconds behind.
Things like that ruined this movie. And the plot is as thought out as a 5 page report thats due in 1hour.

Good scenery and CGI, Terrible acting, worse plot

Something gets lost in the translation, as it often does translating Russian to English. The Russians and Americans communicate differently about things, and think differently, so it doesn't work too well sometimes. Grade B acting. Hokey scripts. Unlikely events, makeup borrowed from the Twilight Zone.
