5.0 out of 5 starsAmazing Headphones and an AMAZING VALUE
Reviewed in the United States on October 23, 2019
These are awesome headphones. Straight up. I'm an electrician, and right now I'm wiring prefabbed prison cells on a 5 acre lot. I'm basically spending ten hours a day in a huge outdoor maze made of concrete and steel. What makes these headphones so amazing? One, I charge them all night and they lay my whole shift as long as I turn them off for my half hour lunch. That's 9-plus hours on a charge. Two, I usually have my phone in my pocket, but sometimes I leave it by my tools. I can walk 60 yards straight away from my phone and still be connected. Or I can go two rows of cells over. 20 yards and 3 feet of concrete and rebar. Finally, I work outside. Heat, cold, reason, a little snow, sweat, etc. And they keep rocking. I love these things, especially considering the price. These are awesome. Grab a pair!

Works well, but mic quality is bad and doesn't stay charged for that long.

Pros: The price - cant beat that at $15, the sound quality is surprisingly good and fits comfortably.
Cons:
-The charging case uses a T-30 connector, meaning if you have the usual Android/Kindlet etc USB cable it wont fit. (Same connector as Galaxy S 9/10 phones) Will need to use the cable provided
-The mic is sub-par. Every time I've made a call they've complained that cant hear me, so have stopped using that function. Just use it for audio
-The charge time on the earbuds is not as long as advertised. However they do stay charged for me for a few hours, which is quite good.
Side note: when powered on and connected, the audio notification comes on and tells you in a lady's voice. Heavy Chinese accent, which is to be expected given where they are made

Update : Have downgraded the review and 🌟 on this. After 3 months of light use, one of the earbuds does not hold charge even though it shows 70% remaining on Bluetooth connection.
It powers down until recharged again.

Update after 6 mos: the earbuds loose the sync between them , (not with the phone) so seems odd/echo like.

Update : after 9 months, one has stopped working and holding charge.

Going in garbage

2.0 out of 5 stars Seem to be with what I paid for them and then some
Reviewed in the United States on August 10, 2019

Ok first off I was looking for a cheap wireless headset to use while cutting the grass and you wear under my hearing protection. So if you want a technical sounds explanation, I am not your guy.

Sounds seems good and has good base, and they lasted for the 3 hours I was cutting the grass.

I was able to take out one and still have music in the other, but when I took the second one out it stopped playing which was good.

Pairing was pretty straight forward, look for a device that says "Hi". If your looking for Apple like look well these are a little bigger and longer and black in color.

I paid less than $14 for these, but they really aren't cheaply made. The charging case has to be charged by a use cable but otherwise the ear pieces just get charged from the case when planned in the case.

I haven't tried the call quality yet

Update: Left ear phone drops out consistently after 30 minutes. Units are really to big to look at all cool. If the left ear power could last consistently, they would do what U bought them for, hidden under hearing protection while cutting grass, but it doesn't.

1.0 out of 5 stars They Automatically Pair Even When They're In Their Case
Reviewed in the United States on November 23, 2019

I'm surprised at how bad these earbuds are considering how highly they've been rated by past purchasers.

I'll preface this by saying that I seem to have oddly shaped ears. It's very rare for me to find earbuds that fit properly and that fact might explain why I find the sound quality and noise cancellation to be so poor. But the sound quality is not the issue that makes me the hate these.

Sound Quality: These don't produce bass notes well at all. All of my music sounds tinny when listened to through these earbuds. I generally use these to listen to podcasts at the gym, so the lack of bass isn't really an issue, but the times when I do listen to music with these I find them to be awful. As I said above, my ears don't seem to be shaped like most people's the lack of bass I experience might be because the earpieces don't make a proper seal with my ear canal. So take this with a grain of salt.

Noise Cancellation: To be clear, these don't offer any noise cancellation. However, most people seem to use noise isolation and noise cancellation interchangeably these days so I'll address the noise isolation which is not good. These barely block out any ambient noise at all. I have to turn the volume almost all the way up on my phone if I want to hear my podcasts clearly because the sound is competing with all the noise around me. Again, this might be because the silicon earpieces provided don't fit snugly in my ears. Your results may vary.

Automatic Pairing: This is the feature that makes me hate these. To give context, the case itself is what charges the earbuds. You plug the case in with a USB-C cable to charge its battery, and then you insert the earbuds into the case and turn on the charging circuit. The earbuds will charge their batteries from the case's battery. When the earbuds are fully charged, they automatically power on and connect to the device they were last paired to. So after the gym, I put my earbuds back in their case and started charging them. An hour later I was on the phone with my sister when suddenly I couldn't hear her anymore. I thought the call had been dropped but what had actually happened was that these earbuds had finished charging and paired themselves to my phone even though they were still in their charging case. I had to turn off Bluetooth on my phone and call her back. The fact that these turn on while they're still in their charging case is a baffling design flaw. Not only do you have to deal with them turning on randomly and pairing to your devices when you don't want them to, but it also means that they are powered on and draining their battery when they're not in use. If you want to fully charge these and then turn them off to preserver their charge, you have to put them in their case, turn on the charging circuit, wait for them to be fully charged, then take them back out of the case, turn off each earbud individually and then put them back in the case. And if the charging button accidentally gets hit while the case is in your gym bag, the earbuds will turn themselves back on again. It's a really bad design.

"Face Recognition": These things also have a feature which is supposed to recognize when the earbuds are in your ear. If you take the right earbud out, it will pause whatever you're listening to and then start it again when you put the earbud back in. Great idea in theory. What actually happens is that any time you adjust the right earbud it thinks it's been taken out of your ear and will pause your music/podcast. This is very annoying. Also, if you take these out of your ears and put them in your pocket or back in the case, the earbud might think it's been put back in your ear any time it gets jostled. So the feature that's supposed to automatically pause your music for you actually ends up unpausing your music at random. This is almost as annoying as the automatic pairing issue.

These might seem like a bargain at $18 but they're designed so poorly that I don't even use them anymore. I'd recommend you spend up on something that actually works.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not really worth buying unfortunately

Negatives: Uncomfortable after about 20 minutes, cant tell when they are charging, randomly turn on and connect when they are in my pocket, no warning when the battery is low they just shut off, under 3 hours play time per charge with music not a micro USB charging port.
Positives: clear audio, look good, connect easily, can be used independently.

Overall not really worth the price I have some bluetooth headphones that are attached to each other that cost 5 dollars and work much better all around but I missed my jbl free headphones that I beat to death using them for work so I tried these. It's been less than a week and I've already ordered different ones around this price range because these suck (wish me luck lol). I just cant see spending over 20 when I know I'll destroy them in under 3 months because of my job (I paint houses).

1.0 out of 5 stars JUST NO!!

I have to make this bad review as nice as possible if I want amazon to publish it. In no particular order here it goes.

1. Its not very elegant in one ears. WORST IF YOU HAVE A SMALL FACE. Its quite big and unattractive.
2. Very POOR sound quality. After a fair chance of five days. I had to give it to my Six year old niece as she cant distinguish good sound quality from ABSOLUTE 'not good quality'.
3. Battery Life is unacceptable. I listen on my commute to work and one ear stops working usually the left after an hour but the right lasts a much longer time. (does anyone else find that strange)
4. I'm also not a fan how this starts my music unsolicited. Like I'm in control not you.

BOTTOM LINE: I will not repurchase nor will I ever recommend EVER! There are so much on the market. Make the wise choice.

it's worth the money, it has lots of cons and pros.
Pros:
-first, it's one of the few earbuds that comes with USB TYPE C, not the trash micro usb.
- one of the cheapest in the market
- it works single or/and in pair
- the sound quality is acceptable
- it's comfortable

cons
-the girl has a heavy chinese accent
-when receiving calls it keeps repeating "incoming call" over and over again
- it won't show the level of charge
- it has to be turned on/off manually individually
- it's VERY hard to get it out of the case
- it's hard to open the case

I had trouble with the earbuds as soon as I started using them. Customer service was prompt with helping me, but still the fact that you have to shove them into the case to get the connection so they charge is ridiculous. The on/off is stupid and every time I try to turn them off a voice comes on saying "voice dialing on". The other problem I have with them is pretty major. The left earbud doesn't fit in my ear. I've tried all the different sized covers, but the damn thing still keeps falling out of my ear! So needless to say, only being able to have one earbud in renders them useless. I'm glad I didn't spend much since I'm out that money now.

3.0 out of 5 stars Save Your Money
Reviewed in the United States on March 4, 2020

Over the years I have bought countless of bluetooth headphones/earphones from Amazon. This was an impulse buy in part, since I saw several people at the gym with similar devices. I thought, "why not." The fit on these earbuds was not good. The buds run a little too big even with the smaller gel ear-pieces, and I have large ear canals. The sound is actually not bad at all, but since they don't fit correctly, the exterior noise brings the sound quality down. The battery life is average for this size of device. Connectivity was also not great. The second ear piece kept having problems pairing even after the initial set up. Overall, I wish I would have saved my money to buy the next price level device. These will remain in my extensive collection in case I get in a bind.

Mr. P
3.0 out of 5 stars OK, but not as good as I was lead to believe
Reviewed in the United States on May 11, 2021

Detractors/Disadvantages: 1. These buds are not as loud as the inexpensive ~$10 plug-in ear buds from Walmart I use with a < $5 Bluetooth receiver I have.
2. They also don't stay in my ears very well and I've tried all three sizes of rubber tips. I think this may be due to the fact that these tips are too close to the rest of the body of the buds, the section with Bluetooth receiver, amplifier, & battery where the plug-in type of ear bud has none of that and can be pushed into the ear canal making a better seal for better noise isolation.
3. The button to control each bud is not as user friendly as I would like. Once the buds are on it takes two hold-down pushes to actually turn off the buds. The first push gets you to the voice command section and continuing to hold it down longer does nothing else. The second push & hold gets through the voice command to the power off finally. Sometimes it takes more push and holds before you get it right and can actually turn the buds off. Meanwhile my android phone sits there waiting for some voice command and I have to clear that screen even after the buds are off.
4. The instructions say there is a face recognition software built into the buds and removing the right bud from your ear will pause the playing of your music or book - this does not always work. I've noticed that removing the right bud and leaving the left one in my ear sometimes causes the left bud to come on continue the playing then pause then play again. Perhaps I didn't remove the bud far enough away from my face but instead of "face recognition" perhaps they should fine tune it to "era recognition" so it only plays when it is actually in your ear.
5. Due to #1 & 2 above I've noticed in a noisy environment these things are useless. Since they are not loud enough, nor do they make a good seal the music/book I'm listening to simply gets over ridden with the noise and become either unintelligible or I can't hear it at all.
6. The information on the web site says they have noise isolation, and as per #5 above one can surmise that this is either a false claim or a very hopeful claim. Since the environmental noise easily washes out whatever is playing there is obviously no active or passive noise isolation taking place and I believe this is because I could not find any set of tips to really seal into my ear.

Advantages: 1. They do last the claimed four hours on a charge, but I did notice that the left bud ran out of charge before the right bud did. I did not bother playing it with just the right bud to see how much longer it would have gone.
2. Even with not being able to seal my ear the buds could be made loud enough to hear in a quiet environment, which is where I work most of the time anyway. However, if you're going to use any kind of tool, ride on a bus/train and hope these will be usable in that environment I think you will be disappointed. They were not useable/hearable when I was using a small fan while working with my soldering station to build/repair an electronic circuit. I had to use my plug-in buds which seal out the environmental noise better.
3. The sound quality is almost as good as the Walmart $10 plug-in buds even though they do not seal my ear anywhere near as well. Perhaps they would be as good if the nose seal was comparable.
4. At least while new the batteries do last for 4+ hours. This is really nice.
