How customer reviews and ratings work

Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

5.0 out of 5 starsSave your timing researching and just buy this mouse!
Reviewed in the United States on March 8, 2021
I've bought hundreds of items from Amazon and have only only written a handful of reviews. I spend hours of research on items I will be using a lot and won't settle for "good enough" because one, I hate returning items to amazon (even though they have an awesome return policy) and two, I get pissed when I make a wrong choice on an item after spending hours researching.

I have owned many mice in my life ranging from high end ultra expensive, to bargain bin throw away mice and everything in between. This mouse ranks up there as one of the best values for the money, here are my reasons why:

-No RGB unless charging (only minor glow on mouse wheel). I hate RGB on a mouse, If you NEED RGB than this mouse isn't for you.

-I have medium sized male hands and this mouse fits me perfectly, I believe if you have very large hands, it might feel small but your mileage may vary depending on how you hold your mouse.

-For a mouse under $20, it doesn't feel cheap, granted it's not ultra premium feeling but DOES feel good in my hand. I think this mouse is perfect for daily productivity use and non professional gaming.

-I like the silent clicks, I have a very loud "gaming" mouse and it's really annoying. Movement, scroll wheel is really smooth and everything synced, worked properly out of the box (I used included USB dongle).

Only Con: Uses micro USB for charging instead of USB C but I can live with that.

In conclusion: There are dozens or more mice on Amazon around this price range but I don't believe for the money, you probably won't find a better mouse that is wireless, nice looking and feels well made. In the era of overpriced mice with functionality you don't need/ will never use , I found the perfect mouse for my needs.

This review is an initial first impression, I will update if anything changes after prolonged use.

1.0 out of 5 starsDON'T BUY THIS. IT'S TOO FRAGILE. AFTER EACH FALL IT NEEDS TO BE REPAIRED (2 REPAIRS TO DATE)
Reviewed in the United States on May 28, 2020
I ONLY OWNED IT FOR 1 DAY AND AFTER ONLY 2 FALLS IT STOPPED GETTING POWER.
CURIOUS AS TO WHY IT STOPPED GETTING POWER I OPENED IT UP AND DISCOVERED THE BLACK WIRE WAS DETACHED FROM THE BATTERY, I'M AN OLD ELECTRONICS BUFF SO I RECONNECTED IT USING A SOLDIERING GUN. I DROPPED IT A THIRD TIME AND NOW THE LEFT MOUSE BUTTON DOESN'T CLICK ANYMORE. IT'S ANNOYING AND TIME CONSUMING TO HAVE TO REPAIR AFTER EVERY SMALL FALL.
I HAVE CARPAL TUNNEL SYNDROME WITH CAUSES MY HANDS TO RELEASE WHATEVER I HAVE IN THEM WITHOUT ANY WARNING WHAT-SO-EVER!!!
AFTER THE 3rd. FALL I HAD TO REALIGN THE LEFT CHICK BUTTON BACK INTO IT'S PROPER PLACE.
IT WORKED UNTIL I DROPPED IT AGAIN.
NOW THE LEFT CLICK BUTTON SOMETIMES CLICKS AT IT'S TIP WHERE IT'S SUPPOSED TO DO IT'S CLICKING AND HALF THE TIME IT WILL ONLY CLICK IF PRESSED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BUTTON CLOSER TO THE REAR OF THE BUTTON IF YOU PRESS IT REALLY REALLY HARD.
THIS IS THE MOST BIZARRE MOUSE I'VE EVER OWNED.

LOGITECH MAKES MUCH MORE DURABLE MICE THEN THIS COMPANY.
I HAVE DROPPED MY LOGITECH ERGO TRACKBALL 100's of TIME. PICKED IT BACK UP AND STILL WORKS. THE ONLY REASON I BOUGHT THIS NEW MOUSE IS BECAUSE MY ERGO IS STARTING TO WEAR OUT AFTER MANY YEARS OF GOOD SERVICE.
I'M IN THE PROCESS OF RETURNING THIS DISASTER OF A MOUSE AND I'M GOING BACK TO LOGITECH MICE SINCE I FIRST DISCOVERED HOW GOOD THEY ARE 1N 1999
THIS MOUSE CAUGHT MY ATTENTION BECAUSE OF IT'S LOOKS.
BUT I KNOW NOW THAT LOOKS IS ALL IT HAS GOING FOR ITSELF.
AND IT ISN'T A SILENT CLICKING MOUSE AT ALL.
I CAN CLEARLY HEAR THE LEFT AND RIGHT BUTTONS MAKING CLICKING SOUNDS
CONSIDERING MY DOCTOR JUST INFORMED ME I'M GOING DEAF
AND I STILL HEARD IT CLICKING.

5.0 out of 5 stars A good purchase.
Reviewed in the United States on May 29, 2020

It feels a little plasticy.

But it is light, responsive, and pairs to 3 devices. It uses Bluetooth 3.0, 5.0, or a 2.4gHz adapter to connect.

Pros: Light, comfortable, and responsive. Easy settings, and satisfying.

Cons: The multi-device switch is on the bottom. Which prevents it from accidentally switching by design. But for a multi-device user, switches need to be fast, and I don't like picking up the mouse, turning it over, and pressing a tiny hobbit-sized button.

Still, it looks great. Overall worth every penny.

5.0 out of 5 stars Competitive with much higher priced devices secondary buttons are loud
Reviewed in the United States on January 22, 2021
Color: blackVerified Purchase
Likes:
Battery life is very good
Bluetooth connectivity (3 & 5) dependable
Low input latency
Very light, making for responsive feel during use
Dongle storage built-in
Black one has nice rubberized finish
Silent main buttons (Left and right)
Flexible Ergonomics (good for small hands like children all the way up to grown man hands)
Works while charging via usb (no down time)
multiple DPI if needed

Dislikes:
1. Optical sensor not aligned with "ergonomic center" which skews inputs if you hold the mouse with your pinky on the very side of the mouse where there's a spot for said pinky. This problem goes away if you use your middle finger EXCLUSIVELY over the mouse wheel and adjust the rest of your grip accordingly. I do not and have never used a mouse this way though some might.

2. Secondary buttons are NOT SILENT. This makes for a stark contrast between the quality primary buttons and the secondary button experience. Overall I am not taking any points off for this because I don't use the with great frequency. However, if you use a program which demands constant and frequent use of say, the mouse wheel button, be ready for clicky click.

3. The black and silver finishes are VERY DIFFERENT. if you like the smooth plastic feel go for the silver one. If you like the grippy rubber feel go for the black one. This is only a dislike due to the information being completely omitted from the seller listing. (I like the black one)

4. No custom drivers or mouse software available at time of writing for button assignability (but dude SUB $20!)

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice features, decent execution and price
Reviewed in the United States on July 28, 2020

Ergonomic it definitely is. I’ve used this mouse in about 3 different ways since I got it - Bluetooth on my Mac and PC, and using the USB receiver on my PC. Here’s what I like: With the USB connection the mouse is pretty responsive and takes about 1 or 2 seconds to wake up. The mouse connected effortlessly with both PC and Mac, no software required, using the different connection options, and that’s it’s fully rechargeable. You can switch the resolution to improve tracking and focus. It’s pretty inexpensive for a device with these features.
I have a USB-C laptop and hate using the dongles so I wanted to try a bluetooth mouse. The reviews were decent so I thought, “why not!” Here’s why: I don’t like the sluggishness and latency when using the bluetooth connection, I had to click buttons twice before it recognized the input, I’d drag the mouse and literally wait 2 or 3 seconds for the cursor to follow. It goes to sleep really quickly and seems to be a hard sleeper. I’d wait sometimes upwards of 20 seconds for the cursor to move after leaving the mouse idle for about 2 minutes.on a few occasions I thought the connection was severed and tried to re-pair the mouse with my laptop. Overall it’s a great device, if you’re not solely dependent on the bluetooth connectivity and well worth the price of admission.

5.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable Fit, nice price, & full of features
Reviewed in the United States on February 8, 2020

At first, when I opened the package I thought, "Wow, that is a big mouse!" but then I took it out of the package and it fits perfectly in my hand. I don't have large hands but the way it is designed there is a place for all your fingers to sit comfortably on. I love the forward and back buttons and the option to connect via Bluetooth or USB dongle. I prefer Bluetooth because I only have 2 USB ports on my laptop. It is surprisingly very quiet too. You can't even hear when clicking the mouse buttons. The different Bluetooth modes are nice too. The mouse I had before this one did not have all the features this one has but was very similar. I lost the battery cover for it and decided to purchase this one. I also like that I don't have to replace the battery anymore and no battery cover to lose. The words on the bottom of the mouse are in Chinese but you can basically figure out what they say, enough to use the mouse anyway. All in all, I am very happy with this purchase and will definitely buy another one when my son kills my old one. As for the gaming aspect, I did not purchase it for that feature, so I can not speak to the ability of this mouse in that aspect. I have not noticed any lagging with this mouse though.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great value for the money

Okay, so in an honest product review -- there are some great things about this mouse and some not-so-great things.

I searched all over to find a home replacement for my MX-pro series that is left locked in my office. I have bigger hands and struggle with most standard mice. I also needed something rechargeable and wireless. I should note, I've only used this with the 2.4Ghz dongle and have not tried with my tablet.

I really like the size of the mouse, though the ring-finger grip is a little awkward to get used to. The tracking and overall feel are good though, and the clicks are silent as advertised.

I can't shake the feeling that the mouse is much too light weight -- but for a sub-$20 mouse, I'm happy with the purchase and would buy again. I prefer a weightier feel and a slightly larger lateral grip -- but again, for the price point it works well, seems well made, and works as advertised.

3.0 out of 5 stars XP Bluetooth
Reviewed in the United States on March 7, 2020
Color: GreyVerified Purchase
So, this device does work in BT 3.0 mode on Windows XP. However, whenever I try to pair the device with the machine, it requires a passcode from the device. This bluetooth passcode is not anywhere listed on the device, manual, website, and even emailed support who had no idea what I was talking about. So, after trying out random codes, I found that 0000 worked. So, if you get the same issue, try 3, 4, 5 or 6 zeroes as a device code when pairing.

Also, this device takes A LONG time to wake up. Depending upon how long it has not been used, it may take longer to "warm up." I would suggest manually powering off, powering it back on, and doing several left clicks and right clicks. For me, on average, takes about 3 rounds of left click-right click before it comes back to life.

-1 star for support, -1 star for product flaws. Additionally, I was under the impression that this device could be used as a wired in mouse when connect to a USB port from the computer: this does not appear to be the case. You'll be hard pressed, as a Windows XP user, to find a late technology bluetooth mouse that works for the system that can also be recharged via USB port.

Great product. I have it connected to 3 devices and easily switch back and forth with the click of a button. I don't know why people say it takes a long time to get out of sleep mode. In my experience using it this last week, it takes a fraction of a second to wake up; really unnoticeable to me. Silent clicking was a bonus for me, really like that feature but wasn't why I bought it. Like all the other reviewers say, it's only silent on the left and right mouse clicks, not the middle or forward/back button. Middle scroll wheel button is a little tougher than other mouses (mice?) to press. For example, I use a program where I need to click and hold it while dragging the mouse and it was a little annoying, but i got used to it pretty fast. For all the functionality in this one mouse, the price is truly unbeatable. I personally can't stand the mouses (mice..?) that are tiny and I like to think I have an average hand size. It's got a resting place for each finger with my hand. For the reviews that say it's hard to pick up, I say why are you picking it up in the first place, and secondly, just like the scroll wheel button, just squeeze a little harder and get used to it.. it's not a small mouse. Rechargeability is a huge plus, I've only charged it once so far and it was fast. I also use it everyday.

Pictures to show size comparison. Video was mainly for sound of buttons, and yes I was clicking them, they're just that quiet. I loved the black one in the picture, this was bought to replace it (its scroll wheel was broken). This cost less and has two bluetooth options whereas the black one only has usb plug (and its clicks were really loud..). By far best mouse I own. I should mention, I use this on 2 PCs (Toshiba with Windows 8.1 and HP with Windows 10) as well as my Galaxy Note 8 and all buttons work as expected. Haven't tried it on my macbook, but I'm pretty sure the description states the forward and backward button might not work on apple products? Don't quote me on that though.

That's a good looking and ergonomic mouse. It feels nice in my hand and indeed each finger has its place. It's relatively high, which allows the palm of the hand to grip and rest comfortably on the mouse. It's rechargeable which means no worry if you have batteries at home anymore, and it's more environmentally friendly too! I charged it once when I got it and after 5 days it goes on. I only see a blue LED light at the scroll wheel when charging, not when it's on/connected. It connects flawlessly with my 2018 MacBook Pro, but the only drawback is that the back/forward side buttons do not work as expected; if I click them they just behave as a normal left click, so I remove one star. Other than that it's a great product.
