Bragg has been around forever. I kinda feel like they are the mother of apple cider vinegar, and were singing its praises before the rest of us got on the bandwagon. I have a little book that's 20+ years old, telling me that apple cider vinegar is nature's remedy for just about anything. But let's face it - it's stinky and tastes horrid, so that kept me away.
I decided to give it another try and I immediately went to Bragg's, because I know it's an authentic, untampered with, tried and true product. You can see "the mother" in every bottle, and I see it in every glass that I have. Comparable in price to other brands, I feel good about purchasing it because I know the quality.
Back to my reasons for buying it. So, For weeks now, I stir 2 tsps in an 8 oz glass of filtered cold water. I couldn't handle the taste, so I added a tsp of honey. Honey doesn't dissolve well in cold water so I nixed that after a couple of tries. Now I add a spoonful of maple syrup, which makes it completely tolerable. I am not going to say it's life changing. If it's doing anything for me, it's too soon to tell. But I do feel a bit energized after drinking it in the morning, on an empty stomach, before I go out the door to work.
As for the acne - my son has severe acne. I read on many sites that apple cider vinegar, diluted in proportion of 2 parts filtered water to 1 part apple cider vinegar, would take it away. He's tried so many things - why not vinegar?! Well, I will say that in the first week, the redness did actually diminish. It seemed to be working. But like many other things he has tried, it no longer worked. We upped the strength to twice a day, but it wasn't doing anything. Perhaps it works for mild acne or adult acne, but for severe acne on a hormonal 18-yr old, it didn't do much. Back to the search.
this is legit and fresh. it tastes intense, but there is an awesome aftertaste once you get used to it. I would order again if the price goes down, or I will have to find another source for this.
I drink [2Tbsp] with a large water enhanced with a squirt or two of a little sweet orange flavoring 3 times daily (breakfast, early afternoon, dinner/bed.)
* It doesn’t upset my tummy whatsoever and given my reflux this was an initial concern but now it’s not.
* This brand has best flavor. Tried a few and this one is best to last drop!
* Wish I could comment on quality but don’t know how to quantify it. Suppose best flavor that lasts throughout its shelf life means it has to be high quality.
Overall, definitely recommend
