Dummer than Dumb.

The back cover sounded interesting but when you watch it, it is really stupid. What woman in this world would fall in love with the brother of the thief that stole her car and lotto ticket ? I do not know of any woman that would do that. Even the brother was dishonest in getting to know her. I will never watch this one again.

This movie Lucky Christmas is about a single mom named Holly Ceroni (Elizabeth Berkley) who is trying to find a job to support her son, Max and herself. Holly is a waitress and dreams of opening her own cafe. For four years Holly has bought a lottery ticket around Christmas time. Her numbers were always 21 07 12 11 06 15. This time she wins. Holly and Max are so happy they finally won. Until two men, Joe and Mike stole Holly's car at a bar. Joe and Mike finds the lottery ticket in the glove compartment. Mike wants to do the right thing and hand deliver the Lottery ticket to Holly, Joe wants to keep the ticket for himself. Mike runs into Holly and Max at the ice skating rink while Max is at a Hockey game. Mike is very nice to Max. Mike and Max become friends. Mike falls in love with Holly. Watch this movie to see if Mike ever tells Holly about the Lottery ticket or not. I really enjoyed watching this movie I hope you will do!!!!!!

Great holiday movie
Verified purchase
This movie is a holiday favorite. Down on her lucky, Holly, who works multiple jobs to support herself and her son, takes a chance on a Christmas lottery game-and wins! Problem? She’s lost the ticket...what’s worse? It was accidentally stolen. This is a great holiday movie about taking a leap of faith and misunderstanding. It has all the good holiday feels of a made for TV movie-humor, drama and love.

Yes, A Lucy Christmas Indeed

As a huge Christmas movie collecter, I just had to buy this to add to this collection! This movie is a cute family movie with a bit of romance in the mix. Elizabeth Berkley (Saved By The Bell) plays a sweet down on the luck mom with a young son. You may also recognize the Jason Stanford (Monk) who romances her in this movie. A little Christmas hoppe and magic brings this movie to life. I enjoyed it! Thank you.

I was expecting a good movie. Nope. Terrible acting. Boring storyline. Unsatisfactory ending. Don’t bother with this one.

THE LOTTERY
Verified purchase
I CHOSE THIS RATING BECAUSE THE FIRST TIME I SAW IT ON TV I REALLY LIKED IT. THE REASON IS BECAUSE THIS IS A STORY ABOUT A WOMAN WHO DOES EVERYTHING IMAGINABLE IN ORDER TO TAKE CARE OF HER SON( SHE'S A SINGLE MOM). SO NOT HAVING ANY LUCK IN HER CURRENT CAREER WHERE SHE IS A CHEF SHE DECIDES TO PLAY THE LOTTERY AND FOR MONTHS NOTHING HAPPENS UNTIL ONE DAY SHE GOES TO THE STORE TO BUY A TICKET AND HER FRIEND TELLS HER MAYBE YOU SHOULD TRY SOMETHING ELSE( MEANING PLAY A DIFFERENT GAME) WHICH SHE DOES AND A FEW DAYS LATER FINDS OUT SHE WON AND SHE BECOMES SO EXCITED AND SO THE FIRST THING SHE DOES IS TELL HER BEST FRIEND; SO SHE PARKS HER CAR AT A PUB AND PUTS THE WINNING TICKET IN HER GLOVE COMPARTMENT ONLY TO FIND OUT HER CAR WAS STOLEN WITH THE TICKET INSIDE THE CAR, AND SHE BECOMES FRANTIC AND TELLS THE WHOLE WORLD ABOUT IT; EVEN THE GUYS WHO STOLE HER CAR. SO WITHOUT GIVING TO MUCH AWAY ALL I'LL SAY IS YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHO WAS BEHIND THE ROBBERY. I TOLD ALL MY FRIENDS ABOUT IT AND THEY REALLY LIKED IT TOO. WATCH IT!

You may consider your luck to have run out when spending time watching this movie.

You may consider your luck to have run out when spending time watching this movie. Nothing is more important than honesty; yet sacrificing honesty and helping a friend who steals a car, appropriates contents, and wants to claim a lottery ticket (if possible) is excused. Nice guys make mistakes and true love is found with a lottery winner. Lonely boy finds suitable father-replacement figure who can skate and build a derby car and give advice about winning a bully over with kindness. Norman Rockwellesque home -- replete with parent-grandparentesque caring, wise landlords -- is Christmas-card-worthy backdrop. The true Christmas miracle is that people have rated this movie five stars -- or, for that matter, anything above one star.
