I bought this product as I was advised to brush my teeth with baking soda to remove stains and help to keep my gums healthy. without resorting to other products that have impurities and unnecessary (for my purpose) ingredients. I have used Dr. Clarke's Baking Soda for several weeks and find it quite effective, I choose this particular product for its purity and freedom from added ingredients.

One tip for anyone using baking soda for brushing teeth: wet the toothbrush with water, scoop up a small 'line' of baking soda on a spoon, tilt the spoon and gradually pick up the baking soda onto the brush. At first I was dipping my wet brush into a small container of baking soda and the water from the brush head clotted up the baking soda remaining in the container.

You might think baking soda is just baking soda it must be all the same, but I am here to tell you that Dr. Clark's baking soda is the purest baking soda I have ever used. Honestly, I have been using baking soda for brushing my teeth, anytime I have a tummy ache, alkalizing my water to cleaning my sinks, toilets and bathtub and this product is the best baking soda I have ever purchased. I love that it's finely ground because I use it as toothpaste. Baking soda can wear away your tooth enamel if you do not wet it enough or ground it further. I also love that it's aluminum free. I have a condition that is aggravated by metal exposure.
