Awesome a Find but Beware - Strong Chemical Smell

Great value! The multi-functional blackboard and whiteboard make this so versatile to get through multiple ages. Easy to assemble and included all the tools to do it. My biggest complaint is the super strong chemical smell from the lacquer or glue they use to create the wood. I had to unpack it and set it outside for a few days to air out and still smell it after a week. Definitely high VOCs which then makes me question the safety of my child being in it.... so for now we limit the time he’s in it and continue to air it outside.

Nice helper platform, but gives off a terrible chemical smell.

I have been looking for a toddler helper platform like this, but wanted either an espresso or a white color to go with the color scheme in my kitchen so I selected the white color. Assembling it was fairly easy, except I noticed that there were globs of white paint that settled into the hole where the plug fasteners belong. That did not allow them to fit unless you try to dig the hardened paint out.

The most unpleasant thing about this item is that it smells terribly. After about a day, it started giving me and my husband a headache. I tried sitting it out in the garage and it still gives off an awful chemical smell.

Nice tower but some drawbacks

This seems to be very well made and was super easy to put together. Instructions were easy to follow. We love the black board and white board feature. It’s so really nice that the height is adjustable. Perfect for my 16 month old.
That being said, the smell of this thing is crazy strong. It smells like glue and our entire house smelled and started to give us headaches. We had to air it out in the garage a bit, but it didn't help much. I'm sensitive to smells and this almost ruins this unit for me. I wouldn't choose this item again if I had known just how badly it would smell.
One other thing is that there is a film over the black board and white board (likely placed to protect it during shipping), and it is really difficult to remove. It is underneath the trim of the boards, so it is actually impossible to remove every bit, which is irritating.

A great purchase for those with little ones! My daughter loves to draw in chalk on the board and we also use it to teach her to wash her hands and help in the kitchen. The chalk board easily comes in and out so it can be used as a step stool. It’s sturdy enough to support even me. Not sure why the review prompt asks if it’s “easy to fold” - it does not fold. But I do love it!

Assembly was a bit of a pain but worth it for the product at this price. This is an amazing product to be able to get your toddler or small child at counter height without teaching them that chairs give them unlimited access to stuff. Currently 9 months pregnant and it's amazing to be able to avoid having to life my toddler so much. I like that the chalkboard part also functions a bit like a child proof doggy door so littler kids can't get in without an adult.

Love the product but you have to commit to either chalk or wipe off board otherwise you have to take it apart to change it. Would be much better if you could slide in and out the side you want

Shipping was fast and product was easy to assemble, but the item is not stable. Because the item doesn’t have the little feet built on both sides of the stand it can easily be tipped over. I will be customizing the product to add more wood on the bottom to give it balance. For as much as this item is, such adjustments should not have to be made after the fact.

This was a fantastic find! Easy to assemble with the included tools, and we use it every day. It did smell a little like the polyurethane but that dissipated after a couple days and it is very easy to clean and maintain with the high quality finish. We use this everywhere!

My daughter absolutely LOVES this thing... she’s 21 months, I love that we can adjust the height as she grows. She figured out how to get in and out fairly quickly. And I love the chalkboard aspect bc it deters her from trying to climb it when we are not using it. I highly recommend this product.
