Everything in my kids room now has a place! Perfect set up for all of their books, Lego creations, art supplies and the tub at the bottom for the miscellaneous junk all kids collect. Perfect for the OCD parent trying to restore sanity in an under 18 bedroom!

This bookcase is very sturdy. I love the design of it. The instructions says two people should assemble it, but I was able to put it together by myself. The instructions could’ve been better. I gave this bookcase 3 stars because the wood is not the highest quality. In my photos you can see gaps in between the front of the shelves. I had to use gorilla wood glue to get the front of the shelves to stick. The screws wouldn’t tighten. I’m not sure how long the glue will last. I’m really good at assembling furniture. I wouldn’t recommend or buy this brand.

We turned ours into a rocket for a space themed room. Shape was great. The wood is laminated and very slick- was hard to paint. I did it with gesso priming first but if doing again would try spray painting. Seems pretty sturdy and is surpringly large- the curve is smart-doesn’t feel so big and jutting that way. Does chip/scuff somewhat easily so handle with care. My 2 1/2 yr old thinks it looks super fun to climb so we will be mounting it for sure. :/ easy to put together. I’ll update if it starts sucking.

Received the packet on time. After opening everything, I discovered that the bag with all the nuts and bolts was not included in the packet. Well, I called the company, everything went fine and I received the bag and started to assemble that bookcase with the help of my daughter. She was very exited that she will have it in her room.
Everything came out in a good shape ...... except: the wholes for the CAM SCREWS are WAY bigger than they should be for the size of the screws that are in the bag!!! I was not able to attach them to the board. They were freely falling off the wholes. This is a potential hazard and I am not putting a furniture like that in my daughters room. This bookcase can’t be assembled in the way it was send to my house! Please be advised about that problem!!!

I bought 2 of these. If you use glue in all of the joints like it is recommended in the instructions, then they are pretty sturdy. That being said I had the same issue with both of them. one of the bottom boards has a hole that is a too big or something. the screw stripped out the same hole on both units. I needed to use a longer screw. Also, use good wood glue instead of the paste they give you.

Buyer Beware - Worst Purchase I Have Ever Made

I was near the end of the assembly process for this product when I realized one of the shelves was missing a pre-drilled hole for a cam lock (The big cylindrical metal pieces used to tighten furniture). I requested a replacement part and waited over a week with this giant nearly built shelf in my living room. I knew taking it apart would basically destroy it.

When I finally received the replacement, I noticed they did not send any hardware, so I had to scrap the old defective one for the parts (The cam locks and the wooden dowels). On top of that, anything that was attached to the defective part was not sent, so I had to salvage that too. That involved unscrewing a piece and reattaching it to the replacement shelf. Unfortunately, unscrewing anything made out of this powdery wood material means that it basically can't be reused. The dowels were also glued into the defective shelf so they did not survive the removal process.

As a side note, you know how most furniture comes with some extra hardware? Maybe a couple of dowels and screws in case of any issues? Not this one. No extra parts.

After all of that, I tried putting the shelf together again, and now none of the cam locks were tightening the shelf all the way, resulting in large gaps and a lack of overall sturdiness. This is probably because these cheap pieces of furniture are not designed to be taken apart, however, I had no choice since I had to replace a defective part. Long story short, the entire shelf is now a giant useless hazard. I would pretty much need to replace the entire thing and start over, but I have wasted more than enough time as it is.

I am requesting a refund which is a whole other issue with this company. They wanted me to unassemble and repackage the whole thing. After taking the thing apart, it's completely unusable, dowels are glued all over the place, and the powdery wood substance is crumbling and making a mess everywhere. I'm guessing they know this furniture does not survive disassembly, and they just require you to ship it back as an inconvenience and a deterrent to getting your money back. I'm basically mailing a bunch of garbage back to them in order to get my money back, but that's fine since it's what they sent me in the first place.

I was fooled by the nice design, the pretty pictures, and the suspiciously great reviews. I don't know what all these other people are receiving but it must not be what I got. You have been warned.

We made it work but not a good product. The box arrived open. Thankfully all the parts were there but no instructions. We found a manual on line. Product is very cheap partical board. Cracks easy and falls apart. Some boards were also damaged in shipping. After waiting so long for it to arrive, we didn’t have time to return or replace it...had to make it work. If I had to do it again, I would spend the extra money to get something that would last. I suspect this will be falling apart and I few months.

PROS: Have 4 white and 1 espresso shelves. The espresso one served as shelving for toys. Used it with toy bins and it’s still going strong for over 5 yrs. So purchased 4 more but in white. Overall I like the look and cost effectiveness of the shelves. Purchased more expensive ones that cost over 1k in total and they look awesome but for cost effective shelving that looks great, these work well.

CONS: The back of the shelves are weak and you can tell by looking closely but once you fill the shelves, you can’t see the back, especially if you use bins to organize and fill your shelves.

Further I received broken or damaged parts on two of the shelves for which I had to return and exchange but Amazon took care of the exchange without excessive hassle and it was handled well.

I swear if there is an apocalypse this thing will survive. So many dowels, glue and screws for each piece it was borderline ridiculous but I have no doubt this thing will last a very long time. It is also really big. Way bigger then I thought it would be so my fault for not checking but also not complaining as it stores a ton of stuff. I would recommend 2 people putting it together o ly because all the screws and dowels can get tedious by yourself. And I mean like 8 to 12 per piece almost. I also used a ratcheting screw driver which saved my wrist.

This bookcase looks great and has a lot of room. I'm not sure why other people said the instructions were unclear and that the assembly was difficult. It took time to put together, maybe a little over an hour. It's mostly putting in the cam screws and gluing in dowels. Use your own wood glue and put more than a drop in each hole. It's ok even if the glue comes out a bit. Just wipe it off. My only gripe with this product is that in some place where I was putting in a screw the particle board would start to split. Keep in mind that I was not using excessive force and was not using a power tool. DO NOT USE A POWER TOOL!. I like that they give you a screw, wall anchor and a pre drilled hole in the top to mount it to the wall for safety. All in all the bookcase looks great, has a lot of room and feels sturdy. It's made of particle board so you can always expect splitting I guess, but still....no good when that happens.
