First of all, these are literally the same as Plink or Glisten. No difference. We’ve been using these regularly for many years and cannot tell any difference. We go through them so quickly that it doesn’t make sense to buy the small 10 packs anymore. Also, I hate to wrestle with those Plink clam shell containers. The balls go flying all over the house if you’re not super careful. This was exactly what I wanted.

Update: after speaking to the company, they were friendly and welcoming to the feedback. They confirmed similar concerns and said they worked to improve the scent. They rushed a package of the newer product to me which I just received. Tested a couple out and can confirm that, while not overpoweringly citrusy, there is no citronella smell that I could notice. I am very happy with the new product and most of all with the communication. Would highly recommend.

(Old review): I’m sure they clean fine but they smell like citronella, not lemon. I guess if your kitchen has a mosquito problem, these might be the answer. Personally, I think the scent is the main reason for using these so it’s a no for me.

Ah, the sound of grinding as the yellow sphere I just dropped into the garbage disposal is torn asunder by the blades of the machine under the sink. These handy little spheres are a wonderful addition to my housekeeping routines. The point, after dinner, with the dishes all done and dried that I open the cabinet under the sink and, with hot water shooting down the drain, turn on the disposal. It grinds up the food waste of that evening's repast and then comes the sublime moment I open the resealable bag and pluck out a bright sun-colored sphere and drop it into the rubber folds of the unit. As the initial grinding sounds fade the lemon-soaked aroma wafts up from the bowels of the plumbing and floods my nostrils with nirvana-like essence. This product is amazing.
