This is made with corn starch that is not organic and they don’t say it’s non GMO corn so I am assuming it is. I didn’t read the ingredients until I received the package I just got excited because it didn’t contain aluminum. This also has a huge amount of sodium and other chemicals I am not comfortable ingesting. I tried to return it but they don’t accept returns for this item so I hope this review can keep someone from making the same mistake I did.

Just two examples of recipes that call for a lot of baking powder to get a good rise. I've heard parve baking is similar. When you use a lot of this stuff, it has to be aluminum free or the end result is bitter. This does not cause that bitterness.

I bought the 2.5# bag of DA baking powder through Amazon in July. I wanted to make sure i had it on hand. I took it out of the pantry today. The bag is very swollen almost as if it is going to explode. The sell by date is 5/21. I want to know if it is safe to use. I have tried to contact the company before writing this review, but cannot contact the company...even on their own website!
