Poor customer service/ defected product

Let me start off by saying that I really felt good about this product and could see the potential it had to be a great fit for my pet. My 2 pound yorkie was very happy with the room and security that the playpen offered.
I purchased this item on 7/18/2017 and by 7/29/2017 it was falling apart. It started with the bottom base seam started to shred and separate, next the zipper fell off then finally the bottom base shredded and created a hole.
My yorkie is all of two pounds And she is Not capable of creating the damage you see in the photos. She does not have the strength and she is always supervised When in the pen for a limited time. I initially emailed the seller (not amazon)privately to discuss with her what happened and possibly come up with a resolution because I really wanted this product to work. It took her 3 business days to respond and say " sorry that this has happened please send pics and we will see what we can do". I sent pics as requested and as of 8/3 I have not heard back. I was really trying to avoid the public review and give the seller the chance to fix it so I could post a positive review just about the product and not the problem. The quality of the product initially started off good and I am hoping it was just a defect. The reason I rated a 1 star because of the lack of customer service from the seller (not amazon). Good customer service is #1 and will keep a customer coming back! You can always fix the defected product.
