I made these for the first time this evening. They turned out great. My family said they wouldn't have known they are gluten free. Yay! I like the ingredients. Although it's not organic, It's much healthier than a lot of the other gluten-free mixes available!!
I used coconut oil and melted it instead of shortening. Very delicious!

Hi, I'm Phoebe
I grew up in a cabin on Vashon Island in the Pacific Northwest with no running water or electricity. Every Wednesday my mom would bake bread in our wood-burning stove, it was the highlight of my week. Today, I still want the bread but found I needed to remove gluten and grains from my diet to maintain my health.
So, in 2017 I started Other Foods, hoping to offer the comfort of bread and baked treats to folks like me with food sensitivities. I hope you love what I've made for us.
