THESE ARE SO GOOD. I can't begin to say how pleased I am with these blondies. I held off on buying them because I thought they were too expensive for one mix, but they are worth every penny. I made them into 8 pieces instead of 12 because of the size of the pan I had, so they are around $1.63 per piece, which is way less than I would have paid for other low carb snacks I looked for. Try these! They are delicious and worth it.

I was exited to make these even though I am not a cook (I am lucky to follow directions in general when cooking). Because of my lack of baking/cooking prowess, I VERY exactly followed the directions to ensure I made them just right. Using the directions, I chose to use coconut oil, extra virgin, as I like the flavor. I melted it, added the other ingredients and mixed thoroughly. I put them in the oven using the parchment paper sprayed with cooking spray. I had to cook them more than 30 minutes just to get them solid enough to take out of the oven (which is much longer than is listed on the instructions). They were so horrifically greasy/oily that they were completely inedible. I can only assume that it was due to the coconut oil. The batter tasted amazing but the final product was worse than the greasiest pizza (I put them on 4 layers of paper towels and they soaked completed through all of it). I bought two packages so plan to try cutting the oil in half and hope that makes them edible. The same happened with the regular brownies from Good Dee's that I cooked at the same time. Such a disappointment as I REALLY wanted to love these (and it was a waste of quite a bit of money since these aren't cheap) and I have already purchased muffins and other items from the same company. Hopefully the rest will be better or I will have to look elsewhere for my future sweet tooth needs.

I just started eating keto a few weeks ago and am not a fan of any type of sugar substitute (and I've tried multiples). Stevia in any form just leaves an ick aftertaste in my mouth. I was hesitant to try these but saw so many raves on Instagram I caved as I had a sweet tooth I hadn't been able to kick. My package came within 2 days. They were easy to mix together and pop in the oven. I was beyond surprised at how much I like these! The serving size is decent enough that I'm not just being teased. The blondie is soft and sweet and has great flavor. There is a bit of an aftertaste, but it's not bitter as I was expecting, more like a cool sweet feeling on the tongue. These are a little expensive, but with the quality ingredients and the capability to stick to keto without guilt it's worth every penny. I'll be buying more for sure.

Alright flavor, sweetener aftertaste

For a few years I've been wanting to try out these because I see them often on Instagram, and when there was a big enough sale on these, I took that chance.

Fast forward to today, I finally got to bake them, but with a few additions to what the recipe called for. The recipe calls for some eggs, butter, and vanilla extract. First, I separated the whites from the yolks and beat them until fluffy. Next, I added four tablespoons of vital wheat gluten and xantham gum to help with the texture, which I made this decision based on many of the reviews that talked about the texture. And if you're not gluten free, I would highly recommend adding these, because the texture looked better than seen on these reviews, and felt closer to a real, sugary blondie. I also added a handful, about a 1/4 cup, of chopped pecans as well.

After the blondies were finished baking I let them cool for a little while, and after I ate the first slice, the erythritol and stevia blend were very apparent. However, I put them in the fridge, let them cool some more to see if this would help, I ate another slice. Although the flavor of the blondies was a little better, the flavor and cooling effect of the erythritol and stevia were still very much there. For reference, I'm not particularly sensitive to the cooling effect and taste of these sweeteners because I've used them frequently while eating a low carb diet.

I'm a little disappointed in these because I'm not sure if I'll be able to finish the batch of blondies I made. I also got the pecan cookie mix so hopefully those will be better, but I don't think I'll be ordering the blondies again. If you have a high tolerance for the cooling effect and taste of erythritol and stevia then you'll probably like these. As for the value, the discounted price I bought these for seems reasonable, but I can't imagine paying the regular price for something I realize now I could make on my own from scratch and also get more out of it.

I made this last night and replace the eggs and oil with pumpkin purée and literally couldn't sleep last night my stomach was so distended I looked 11 weeks pregnant my back was in severe pain I was crying I called my mom and was on the phone with her for an hour 19 minutes I was in that much pain I don't know what it is in this mix but I did not do well with it it's a shame because I would buy it if I was in an all that distress and wasn't so distended and in pain
