I have been a fan of Kane Hodder since the 80's when I first saw Jason Takes Manhattan. Like most other fans of the series, I truly believe he is the one true Jason. This movie delves so deep I was unprepared for it. I loved the stories about his early career and how he came to be Jason, as well as everything he's done since being Jason. And I really loved the first hand accounts from friends, family and people he's worked with. All of that was terrific, but when he starts telling his most personal story I completely fell apart. I was crying like a baby. It's really worth watching if you are a fan of Kane Hodder, horror films or just a really compelling human story. He seems so genuine and sincere. I had the pleasure of meeting him in Salem, MA right around Halloween in 2010 or 11 or 12 (sorry, I have a bad memory) and it was the same thing. He seemed so genuine and not at all bothered to have to be talking with me or posing for a picture. It's a great memory for me, and this film really just made my day.
