It tastes good, it’s refreshing and it’s how I’ve started my day of work for years. I’ve been a long time fan of Hiball, since 2010.
I had hoped that with more popularity that the prices would stabilize. They are certainly very proud of their beverage.
The elimination of 12 packs have only compounded this issue. Local prices are now $3.49-3.99 a can. I recall a time when I was ordering 12 packs on amazon at a price of $1.50 a can.
Just skimmed through my order history from Amazon alone, I’ve purchased over 500 cans online over the last several years. That’s not including the countless cans from local retailers, starting with my first Hiball beverage back in the bottle days at Whole Foods over 8 years ago.
So today has marked an end of an era for me. I cancelled all S&S orders of Hiball and will only purchase again when the price is reasonable.

Great product but safety issues with bulging cans

I really like this product because its doesn't have the gross syrup-y taste that other energy drinks have. Its nice & refreshing. However, I have 2 concerns about the packaging. The frist & foremost concern is the bulging of the cans, it reminds me of what botulinum toxin does to cans of food at the store. These cans should not look like this & should definitely not be sent to cutomers in this condition. My other concern is also safety based. I worry that due to the bulging condition of the cans that they will explode while in transport. It would be great if this company could improve on their packaging & deal with this issue because it appears that this is not a singular occurrence.

Wow,, these are amazing! They taste like mineral water with just a HINT of fruit flavor (think, juice of a small lime wedge). The energy is legit. Perfect for the afternoon "wall" I hit sometimes. They are a quick and easy "grab and go", especially if you have no time to brew a coffee.
The price is a little high, but that's always the case with high quality, natural products. The cans are large, so you get a lot in each one.
Also, I was pleasantly surprised to see how well these were packed and that there was no damage to the cans, as some have experienced.

Product is great, but Amazon's shipping & storage damages half the product

We LOVE hiball and are longtime enthusiasts. We discovered them in Colorado grocery stores 3+ years ago and were so excited when they started shipping through Amazon when we moved away 8 months ago. The last 4 months, however, we have had more issues than are acceptable and Amazon is refusing return or replacement of product. We are a household that buys 4-6 packages every 4 weeks (aka easily $100-150 a month on this) and are canceling ALL auto delivery due to product shipment issues. The external shipping boxes are intact but internally we're finding 1-4 cans burst, empty, and damaged upon arrival. We don't even mind the dented ones as long as they're sealed! Seriously we love the product THAT much and get multiple flavors. I work from home and bring the shipment indoors immediately after delivery, so they are likely freezing in transport or in an inadequately insulated facility somewhere along the way. We are extremely disappointed. I got a replacement for ONE box but am told that even though the others are within the return or replacement window that they are ineligible for return. There is NO way to check the product cans without opening the packaging. Highly recommended the product if you can get it undamaged, but sadly that's not happening. I reached out to Hiball directly initially and was told we have to go through Amazon for return or replacement but that was obviously a dead end since they only replaced one.
