So many docking stations promise multiple screen support, but then only support mirror mode, especially when for the Mac. Not this docking station. Both with my Windows machine and my Mac, all 3 external screens "just work".
There are a few gotcha's though:
! Do what the box says: download the latest drivers from displaylink before connecting.
! Make sure the displaylink app is running on your Mac
! HDMI 2 is the port that supports a high-res monitor. NOT port HDMI 1, not the displayPort one. and HDMI 2 is not enabled if you use an USB-C to USB-A cable to connect to your computer.
! HDMI port 1 and the displayPort connector only support 1080p
! There is no power adapter included. You need one with a USB-C plug. (Though a cheap 3rd party Mac-compatible 100W one works perfectly)
! Quadruple means your laptop's monitor plus 3. Not 4 external.

Solid Docking Station To Simplify Your Multi-Monitor Setup

This Hiearcool 14in1 has been a great upgrade for my work from home setup. I use three monitors with my MacBook Pro which I previously was driving using two USB-C dongles. Needless to say my desktop was a mess of cords and wires. Taking my laptop with me involved taking time to plug and unplug everything. Now I can plug all of my cords (2xHDMI, 1xDisplayPort, Ethernet, USB-C Charging cable) into just one unit and have a single cord run to my laptop. This makes my desk look much cleaner.I have been using the unit for for about 40 hours over the last week and have not had a need to touch it after plugging everything in the first time. So far its just been a set it and forget about it relationship, which is what I want for work related items.Its great being able to have the ports right in front of me so i don't have to dig through a bunch of cords to access the USB port. I have also spent time listening with headphones using the headphone jack and it drives my over ear headphones just fine.Would recommend for those running multiple monitors and wanting to streamline their cable connections.

I have been using the unit for for about 40 hours over the last week and have not had a need to touch it after plugging everything in the first time. So far its just been a set it and forget about it relationship, which is what I want for work related items.
Its great being able to have the ports right in front of me so i don't have to dig through a bunch of cords to access the USB port. I have also spent time listening with headphones using the headphone jack and it drives my over ear headphones just fine.
