Love his shelf. I replaced the fabric which was very easy to do and now my daughter can easily access all her books. If you want to change out the fabric, it'll take 2 yards.

Toys Bins a GO. Book shelf a NO.

The toy bins are exactly as pictured.
Assembly was super easy and it holds a good amount of toys!
I love that my kiddo can see all of her things and choose easily.

On the other hand, the book shelf organizer wasn’t what I was expecting.
Advertisement makes it look as though they are the same size but they are completely different sizes and color..
I’ve attached some pictures to show the slight difference but it is still noticeable.
The slots are deep and make it very difficult for my two year old toddler to pick out books. And small books won’t be seen from display. I ended up putting smaller books in a small basket on the side to see what that would look like but was disappointed that I couldn’t fit all of them in the organizer.
Was kind of concerned reading other reviews saying it was not returnable but luckily it is now available to be returned.
I’d say the bins are a great buy, but maybe choose a better quality bookshelf, this one is pretty cheep quality for the price.

Easy to assemble, stores lots of books

This sling bookshelf is for my twins. It has survived their first two years so its sturdy enough. It does get wobbly over time so it needs to be re-tightened periodically.

It is no good for board books; the slings are too deep and they vanish from view. We use it for all of their taller hardback books.
What I dislike is the pricing; when I bought this, getting the slings in primary colors was twice the price of the pastels. I went with the pastels even though I would have much preferred the primary colors.

This year when trying to figure out gifts for folks I am going to go for those things I think they can utilize. Seeing my great nephews & nieces all have a love for books I plan on getting each of them a sling bookcase. These seem to be constructed good & there are many options to choose from with colors. Neutral grey is in their home schooling classroom so I was thrilled to see the grey option. Going for the pink for the girls.

Cute shelf, great price, frame feels sturdy

This is cute & easy to assemble- took about 15min. I was surprised by how sturdy this actually feels and really happy overall- especially given the price point (I purchased at $20/free ship- I think this price is fair for what you're getting, much over $25 and I think it would approach overpriced- in my opinion; at $20, I would order it again). The poles are all metal which makes it more likely to hold up than similar style of kids furniture we've owned that have wooden dowel rods (that have eventually ended up broken). The pockets are like a "garden flag" material, they are pretty flimsy but- again, for the price, I was satisfied. If you forced a LOT of heavier/thicker books in this over time, I could see how it may not hold up long term or the weight could rip the bottom out of the pockets.

While this is pretty small/not very high, I wanted a kids sized/more narrow shelf that could fit against the wall, in the space between the wall & the rocking chair we read in. We are also updating my 4yr old's room and I was looking for cost-effective ways to spruce it up/add some better organization - this fits the bill on all accounts. She also loves it and was really excited.

My daughter placed a mix of paperback/thinner hardcover kids books in it (herself) and on average, she seems to have gotten about 8-12 kids books (give or take) in each "shelf" - this is without "overfilling" and not feeling like they are forced in or tight. Obviously, depending on the type/size of books, amount it will hold is going to vary- thicker baby books will reduce capacity- we stuck to thinner books. I placed some of our taller hardback books in the pockets to show size reference (see pic with Fancy Nancy hardcovers); if you are using smaller/paperback kids books like you might get in a book order, this will hold quite a bit more (easily 12+ per shelf).

*I only gave 4 stars because there was one small spot on the edge of the shelf where the white was chipped slightly upon arrival (nothing I would consider returning or that impacts the use of the item in anyway, but I do expect we may see more of that with daily use- again for $20, it's not a big deal); I also think that if the material used for the pockets was a little thicker/more substantial, it would increase the durability/life of the shelf.

So cute and fun for little ones

I bought this book rack in the white/pastel for my daughter's room. She is 2.5 and will tell everyone she is a princess, and these colors look amazing with her other princess decor. She is on the short side but can easily reach the top rack of books. I have many board books, pop-up books, hardcovers, and paperbacks stored in the racks. There isn't a lot of depth to each rack, but this isn't the kind of shelf you put as much in as you can. My daughter loves that I keep a few (which to me is like 20) books in the rack at a time based on the season and then switch them out with other books on our big bookshelf. My son (6) now says he wants a rack like this in different colors in his room, so I'd say it's a hit!
I put the rack together on my own in less than ten minutes. It is lightweight, but sturdy and has held up so far to months of my kids taking books out and putting them back in.

Sturdy first bookshelf

We bought this product back in August 2019 for a 1-year-old girl's 1st bookshelf. It's still in use up to now May 2021. (See photo taken this week). The whole assembly was super easy, finished within 5 minutes. The shelves are sturdy as you can see that they can hold bigger books / multiple books. It's also visited/used frequently by the toddler as she chose to read her books often or do some activities with the books. Super durable. Very happy with the purchase. It doesn't take so much space but has enough "space" for multiple books. Great way to start the baby's library.

Nice small bookshelf that can hold a lot of books

I bought this product to put in our daughter's playroom, so that we had boom themes for the week. This bookshelf is not very big, but it does hold quite a bit of books. It was very easy to put together and took about maybe 5 to 10 minutes from beginning to end. One thing I really like about this book shelf is that it has a pretty small footprint as far as width. I like that feature because it leaves a good amount of floor space in the play room. I was nervous about her climbing it, but we haven't had an issue with that. Nice thing is that it is pretty lightweight and not very high, which makes it easy to move. I highly recommend this item, especially for a playroom.

After easily and quickly putting this together, I started adding my daughter's somewhat large book collection in it. Half way through i just knew with absolute certainty that there was no way all her books would fit. As I continued adding more books starting to think of which ones we may not keep, i got to the end of the pile and was amazed that I could actually fit more in it!

It's a cute little book shelf that doesn't take up too much space. It holds a decent amount of books and my kids love it. I needed something I could put in my eldest kids room higher up so that their younger sibling could no longer reach their books. They were tearing them up to amuse themselves and be creative. Which creativity is not a wrong thing so I needed a solution that saved the books. This fits on top of your basic dresser pretty well so it's nice and out of reach. Pretty lightweight and the colors are nice.

I see that some people had issues with returns and everything but my item did arrive well packaged and not broken up and it went together in a couple of minutes and I absolutely love it! It was exactly what I needed to organize all my child home schooling books and coloring books so they aren’t scattered in a pile anymore they are just adorably gathered in this little holder and it’s very good for small spaces and it’s not so big it would tip over on a child it’s little and perfect.
