Not for "weed eaters" - It's all BEEF

Now that I have reached the "autumn" of my life, there are several parts of me that do not work as well as when I was 18 and "bulletproof". I used to open beer bottles with my teeth. Now days, anything tougher than a piece of bubblegum might give me a problem. Back on track (I do wander occasionally)...this jerky is not only some of the best tasting I have ever had but, is also tender enough that it can be bitten and chewed even with my antique choppers. I have tried several other brands over the last decade and most of them would make wonderful paving stones but, NOT snacks. So, all I have to say is: Jack, keep making these "links" and I'll keep on buying them.

I have been seeing an abundance of negative reviews that claim they received "Moldy Jerky". I have purchased Jack Link's products for a long time, only recently (since late 2018) from Amazon. I have yet to receive ANY moldy product. That said, I do store mine in the fridge upon arrival, and especially after the bag has been opened. I used to make all of my own jerky, from many types of meat, and yes, it can get moldy after a certain amount of time. The types\amounts of ingredients play a huge roll in the shelf-life. I have tried a lot of brands of jerky and I have also seen all of them get moldy - if the bag had been opened and stored for a long period of time at room temperatures. Just sayin. Anyway, I'm still buying mine here on Amazon!

When you purchase this item, you're buying it from Jack Link's and it even comes in a cardboard shipping box with the Jack Link's logo. The quality of the jerky itself is fresh and anyone telling you otherwise most likely has problems in their personal life and are so petty that they'll blame even beef jerky as a factor to their suffering. I've ordered this quite often enough to write a review, and I seldom write reviews. In addition, I've ordered multiple flavors: pepper, teriyaki, and original. Every flavor and order has been great and I'm very happy with it. Try and score this jerky under $16, I've even seen it go around $12. If it's that price, get it. I'm sure you'll enjoy this jerky.

I was scared after I had initially ordered, as I was reading all the people complaining of mold. I ordered a total of 4- 9 ounce packages, two of which were peppered and two were original. They were awesome and tasty, fresh, and they don't expire for months from now. People need to think if they're ordering food in the hottest months of the year, that the temperatures the food is exposed to is not necessarily good as far as the handling and storage goes. These packages for example, came from South Florida, and as it's winter, so I can safely say that they weren't traveling in the back of a boiling 18-wheeler which is what happens during the summer months. Regardless if it was in the air or not, they don't fly to the airport so there is always exposure to the elements. Just some FOOD FOR THOUGHT.

This is one of my favorite types of jerky. One bag was perfectly fine, as I do not eat it all in one sitting. However the second bag that came with my purchase, i took to work. And upon opening it, having two pieces out of the bag, and sealing it back up; the jerky went rotten within a weeks time- the jerky had grown mold inside the sealed bag; which I then had to throw it in the garbage. So I basically paid what I did, for one bag of jerky. Not very pleased!

I never had beef teriyaki before this was the first time I had it at first it’s hot and and then it’s sweet I’m telling you I sat there and ate a whole bag half a bag myself it was so good I ordered four bags I wasn’t going to order two bags there’s no way I would absolutely add this world so I advise anybody buy this item because it’s fantastic and you won’t keep it leave me and I keep it in stock for the day it’s fantastic I’m waiting for my four bags today Amazon it’s out of this world my brother were ordered today so he won’t be without eithe this is all proteinIt has no fat in it it’s absolutely delicious I would give it a try if I were you it’s just absolutely delicious I can’t say anything more about it thank you Denise

jerky is a meat product that should be friend and cured properly. it should last for years if sealed and stored properly. I opened the bag, ate, yummy. then noticed a stomach ache that lasted about 3 days... red flag for "food poisoning" I LITERALLY WAS POOPING BLOOD FOR A WEEK. went to the hospital, got my butt checked, they blamed food I possibly ate. I listed everything I ate and was like, oh, I have some jerky in my bag, I forgotten to list this, I pulled out the bag maybe 9 days after opening and it was completely sealed after initial opening with the silica packets completely molded. this isn't the first time, and will be the last. I've contacted the company many times and only rattle on responses. so the hospital is going to mail them the bag vacuum sealed to them.
