It can get very thin when you stretch it out in the pan, which is a positive if you like that. The instructions say you can get a 14x10 rectangle out of it, and you can, but it's a thin crust. I'm not sure what size of pizza you'd get if you tried to make this a thicker crust, and I'm not sure I'd want to try it that way. It baked to a crispy, almost cracker-like consistency where I didn't cover it with sauce and toppings. No bread-like deep dish possibilities, I don't think.
I feel the best comparison in taste I could make is a saltine cracker. It's very bland, and has a chewy, almost hard to swallow consistency on its own. The taste and texture of it is easily overshadowed by sauce and toppings. I wanted a dipping sauce when I ate the unadorned crust.
I can see why in a recipe on the box they promote adding cheese to the dough for "Pizza Sticks", it needs the flavor!
