would have been great if not for the perch (UPDATE)

UPDATE: I received an email from the company taking my original review into consideration and notifying their supplier about the issue. They even offered a partial refund, which I appreciated. I hope that anyone who orders this product in the future is able to receive a perch that's a better quality.I had originally bought this set for my new budgies because they seemed to enjoy stringy toys, and when I saw it included a perch, I figured it would be helpful for one of my budgies who unfortunately had his wings clipped before I bought him and had trouble getting to certain places in the cage.It worked pretty well for exactly a week but when I was changing out their food bowl, I noticed the perch was a little wobbly. I attempted to screw it tighter, but it strangely remained loose and unstable. I removed it from the cage and found the cause. The screw was able to just pop right out of the wood.I tried to shove it back into the hole, but after multiple attempts, the screw kept coming out. I'm extremely disappointed because my flightless budgie had especially enjoyed that perch.

I had originally bought this set for my new budgies because they seemed to enjoy stringy toys, and when I saw it included a perch, I figured it would be helpful for one of my budgies who unfortunately had his wings clipped before I bought him and had trouble getting to certain places in the cage.

Our sun conure absolutely loves every piece that came in this package. We put them in his new cage last night and he went right to destroying them in no time! They seem very durable as he keeps going for the knots that hold the whole thing together and they have survived about 5 hrs of torture so far. These toys are great for conures, in addition to being so colorful, they keep our Sunny engaged. If he has lots of toys to play with his loud squawking is also reduced so these types of toys for him are also great for the neighbors when we are not home 😂
