I had originally bought this set for my new budgies because they seemed to enjoy stringy toys, and when I saw it included a perch, I figured it would be helpful for one of my budgies who unfortunately had his wings clipped before I bought him and had trouble getting to certain places in the cage.
It worked pretty well for exactly a week but when I was changing out their food bowl, I noticed the perch was a little wobbly. I attempted to screw it tighter, but it strangely remained loose and unstable. I removed it from the cage and found the cause. The screw was able to just pop right out of the wood.
I tried to shove it back into the hole, but after multiple attempts, the screw kept coming out. I'm extremely disappointed because my flightless budgie had especially enjoyed that perch.
