Joe Bob Briggs is an American Original - And A Cinema Treasure
Over the years, horror fans and drive-in movie schlock fans -- B-movie and grindhouse fans -- could rely on Joe Bob Briggs, Drive-In Movie Reviewer -- to give them the straight scoop at what they'd see if they went out to their local gravel lined automobile cinemas.

The Drive-Ins died out, and Joe Bob got a show on cable television, at the dawn of HBO and The Movie Channel -- pay cable channels that had access to these great (and not close to great) flicks -- and he hosted a few specials, and then hosted Drive-In Theater, Saturday nights for years on The Movie Channel - then to TNT for Monstervision -- and finally -- the MASTER OF THE DRIVE IN IS BACK!

Humor is on point - un-PC, but not unkind - common sense comedy that offends everyone equally, and hidden underneath? A great education on actual film waits for you. Amazing show - do yourself a favor and check out Q first -- you won't be disappointed!

The Drive-In Will Never Die!
Five stars - check it out. :D

Joe Bobb’s Retirement Marathon Is The Perfect Exploitation Horror Experience
Joe Bob’s retirement marathon changed the way I see all film, not just exploitation movies. This lot isn’t “whatever TMC had rights to” Drive-In fare, this is a 27-hour, careful curation of some of Joe Bob’s very favorite movies. The love and history packed into his Legend Of Boggy Creek segments are unlike anything you’ve ever seen.

“Pieces” marked the end of both his live marathon and his career as a horror host, and you won’t want to miss his touching tribute to the original horror host John Zacherle.

Seriously, don’t miss this!

The drive-in will never die!
The last drive in was such an epic event with Joe Bob Briggs. I grew up watching him as a kid during his run on the movie channel and TNT monster vision. Watching him talk about these films and go on unrelated rants was a joy again, brings back great memories.

Check it out! 😉
I love everything about this series!!! The movies are so much fun, and there is a great selection. Sure, you have probably seen a lot of them (or maybe not!) , but to watch them with Joe Bob Briggs' commentaries makes reliving some of your favorites that much more special! He is so knowledgeable and funny, and that eyebrow just kills me! We start talking about all the movies we love that we'd LIKE him to show, because we want to hear what he has to say about them! 💕 His warmth, wit, and wisdom are unparallelled. Can't wait for the next season!

Joe Bob is BACK!
If you are a fan of Joe Bob Briggs, or just drive-in moves, you will enjoy this new series. Every episode is a double-feature, and Joe Bob's introductions and occasional commentary are pure gold. I hope they keep this one going!

I loved it! We need more!
I loved it! I've always liked Joe Bob, but never got to watch much growing up (the old man was a remote hog). I loved several of the movies and have watched them multiple times, and they're all the better with Joe Bob's witty insight. A few of the selections I wasn't a fan of, but I really enjoyed Joe Bob's commentary on them nonetheless.
I sincerely hope that this becomes a regular outlet for Joe Bob's talents. I sincerely pledge to watch every movie for which Joe Bob Briggs does unedited commentary.
This marathon left me wanting more and made me rather sad when he signed off at the end.

One of the better commentary shows out there
This review is only about the quality of the Joe Bob backdrop. The man does such an amazing job relating everything you might want to know about the back stories of films and offers a funny take on a lot of things relating to the films. He also occasionally has on people related to the movie or other special guests and that adds a whole extra layer to why this show is great! I only gave it four stars because some of the jokes he makes are lame and in order to pad out the show he has sidekicks. The mail "girl" really just makes we want to skip ahead whenever she's on because she seems like she's only there because it pays better than porn and she doesn't really ever bring anything to the show besides cleavage.

Movie marathon perfection!
Movie marathon perfection! Joe Bob Briggs is a wealth of knowledge about anything and everything concerning the films you experience during this 26ish hour marathon. If you're a horror movie fan and you didn't catch this on Friday the 13th, drop what you're doing and watch it now!!
