No Awards? No Surprise.

Obscene assault to viewers who will not find a single redeeming quality in this movie. I’ve never practiced law a day in my life and neither did the film’s writers as best as I can tell. Parents of girls might prefer their offspring to become crack whores to becoming a lawyer like Griffith. Who would blame them. At least crack whores can recover but this movie could be remade 1000 times without any improvement.

This movie is billed as a comedy/drama, but I found absolutely no humor in it. Griffith stars as an attorney who defrauds her clients, uses men as tools to an end, and is vicious when crossed. After shooting a former lover, she ends up defending herself for attempted murder. And that's where I will leave this review...

Not predictable...good for that time period when most movies were not that good.
