Okay, to make this clear, I give the house a five star rating but the shipping made it go down to four. I usually try not to say any complaints but I had a slight issue with the shipping service that the house was shipped through. The package arrived late. Also, according to amazon it said that the carrier was supposed to put it together which amazed me. However, that did not happen, so if you are expecting someone to come and set this thing up think again. My package was late so after waiting two extra days I had to contact the shipping service because it said I needed to reschedule my delivery. The lady I talked to about my delivery was very helpful. She got in touch with the local office by email. She also gave me the local offices number. Fortunately, the email worked because when I tried to call a computer answered and said that the number couldn't be reached. Everything ended good though. We got our playhouse. Now with all of that being said, This is an awesome house. It didn't take too long for my husband, son, and I to put together. Yes, my son is 1 but he had his little toy drill and helped us out, lol. Speaking of which, be sure to have a real drill for the adult who is putting this thing together. It will save ALOT of time. Our son loves having a little house of his own to hang out in. That's all he has been talking about since we put the house together. He loves the phone that came with the house too. As for the food and dishes, it didn't come with anything to store them in but that allowed me to get creative. I've order a little tikes grill so he can store them. Every guy should have a grill, don't you think, lol.

Easy to put together but didn’t include all pieces

It was pretty easy to put together but feels flimsy in spots, especially the picnic table and little stove area on the inside. There is a little red piece that is supposed to connect over the front door and it looks like there should be pegs or something to pop it onto but nothing is there so that piece was pointless. The doorbell piece was supposed to come screwed together so you could unscrew put batteries in and then attach to the house however, ours came as two separate pieces and no screws to be able to attach it to the house. For the amount of money we paid they could have at least included all of the pieces.

My granddaughter is enchanted by the 6-tone doorbell, but it takes more strength than she has to activate it on her own. My only other complaint is that when she leans out the window to "set" the picnic table, she often bumps her forehead on the window frame, and she's not very tall for her age. But all-in-all: a great purchase!
