First, it freaking works. Never drops the connection (Bluetooth on a Mac), unlike the Apple Mouse. Tracking ins excellent. (I gave up on the Apple mouse and used a cheap Amazon Basic mouse which was "fine.")
Second, the design is intuitive, which is good since the directions that come with it could be more clear. (The power switch was actually mislabeled on the online diagram; I hope they fixed that.) But, seriously, it's plug-and-play.
Third, I am very uncoordinated. I can't walk and chew gum at the same time. It was a long time before I got the right and left click thing down. I have zero issues with the Lift mouse. Indeed, it has improved my computer skills, which is amazing since I'm old.
I spend over eight hours a day pushing a mouse around. My arm was hurting. I learned that it was repetitive stress. THE LIFT HELPED REDUCE THE PAIN. It's a tiny difference in how you hold the mouse; it' doesn't feel awkward. If fact, for me it felt better. That is to say, it worked better for moving the cursor around on the screen. As I said, good tracking. But, that tiny change make my arm hurt less.
So, thanks to the people who designed this, produced it and the managers who made it all happen. Logitech had a product on the market very similar to this, but someone there said, "this is better, and it would be cheaper." And they made it. I salute everyone involved. Thank you.
