I purchased the variety pack. You get 4 individually wrapped cookies in 4 different flavors. All of the Cherry Almond flavored cookies had defective packaging (see pictures). They all had small hole on the same side of the packaging. I am guessing there is a problem with their packaging machine.My mom and I have only tried the Banana Bread flavored one so far after careful inspection of the packaging. It had a wheat bread scent to it. It tasted pretty good. The consistency is soft and gooey. Reminiscent of a raw vegan dessert or those energy balls in the consistency. As I was eating it I kinda wanted there to be bits of pecans in it.As far the Chocolate Chia I noticed that their was an issue with their packaging as well (see video). The best by date printed on the package is 10/04/202. A clear sticker with an additional number 2 was added showing 10/04/2022. However, how do we know for sure that was the actual expiration date. They could have expired 10/04/2021 or even 10/04/2020.After seeing all these issues I did not try any more cookies. I will say though, the Mocha Chip cookies did not appear to have any issues with their packaging. However, when it comes to food items you have to be careful. Holes in packaging and questionable expiration dates could cause food borne illness. I have no intentions of paying for food just to get sick from it. Also, as it turns out you can not request a refund. I have sent a message to the seller through the Amazon system, and I am waiting to hear back.I would NOT recommend this product as there is no food safety quality control. Really regret this purchase.Update:In about an hour of me sending a message to the seller I received a reply. They are giving me a refund; and most importantly, they are addressing the issues that I had with my order. I really appreciated the quick response and the fact that they are addressing the issues. Going forward, hopefully no one else will face the issues I had.

Ordered a box of these cookies for my wife. Most of them seemed to be OK, but we found mold on one cookie after opening the packet. Product was well within the "sell by" date.
Update: Seller refunded our purchase. The rest of the cookies in the box appear to be OK, so this was an isolated case.
