LuLaRoe buckles under the weight of complaints and accusations. Retailers leave in droves. Dozens of entities file lawsuits, including the state of Washington. LuLaRoe is a small fish in an ocean of MLMs preying on the least among us. The American Dream is just as much a story of predatory profit as it is a story of the unbreakable spirits of the women and families who seek justice.

True and not even half of it
I was a consultant for a couple years, and DID make a good profit. I was also bossed around, shamed, controlled, and am so glad to be out. This doc just scratches the surface of what it was like for us in there. LLR needs to be shut down, along with ALL MLMS

LLR
Best documentary ever. Told it just like it was. Llr told their retailers not to watch it, so how can they be doing reviews?

Amazing documentary!
They brought to light all the backstabbing, manipulation, gaslighting that happens in an MLM. Oh and the sexism was just cherry on top! They need 4 more seasons to really dive into it all. Everyone giving it a 1 star are obviously still in and threatened. Die mad.

Finally!
The truth is being told. It’s a hard pill to swallow that these well meaning women get sucked into a cult so easily—I was one of them.

The 1 stars are clearly from retailers/employees who are still drinking the koolaid. Get out while you still have a small shred of dignity left.

Tells you the Truth
Never was a customer or consultant but know a lot people that were. It's eye opened to watch this and see how was so much like a cult just like all the other MLM's out there.
