Good classic vintage horror!!

It has 80's & 90's terror movies vibes into it. Very interesting plot twists and it keeps you on the edge of your seat. Definitely a good chill terror movie for a Sunday night!

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie

I don't know why some think that this movie is one of the worst they've every seen, because I thoroughly enjoyed this. I'm a big fan of horror and am not always easy to please, but this was definitely a pleasant surprise. I've seen it twice now, and I'll probably watch it again soon. The plot was very interesting, the acting was perfectly good, and the special effects were great! I loved the mystery about 'who is Gabriel,' which makes you get pulled into the movie and want to keep watching. I've seen some terrible horror movies, but this is not one of them! Definitely worth watching.

Not even 17 min in and regretting my purchase…

Bad Acting. Bad writing. Not funny bad. Not campy self-aware bad. Unforgivably bad. Right out the gate, professor failure comes on the Ol video journal with a cliche “I thought I could control it, but I was wrong…” speech, and it just continues to go down from there. Cliche abusive boyfriend watches football and hits his pregnant girlfriend. Pregnant girlfriend cries and chews up every last piece of scenery on set. And that’s just the first 17 minutes. Honestly, I couldn’t stand anymore than that. It cost $19.99 to rent this piece of garbage and 24.99 to buy it. I thought, what’s $5 bucks more? Minds we’ll own it. Wrong. I want my $24.99 back. Skip this one.

Pretty Good

For a horror movie, it had a solid plot to follow, and while the end was a little eh, the fact that it didn't wander off from the premise of the story or add too many last minute things to derail it made it a worthwhile horror film.

If it stays consistent, what more can you ask for from a horror story?

Also the room-melting effects was a massive bonus.

Holy plot twist...!!

Never expected that one. But of a slow burner at first.. The whole imaginary friend threw me off. Acting was good. The special effects could have been a little better. All around a good horror movie.

Yep. Enjoyed it 😉

My teenage daughter liked it a smidge more than me, but I still liked it. Weird and scary with a funky twist that I will not spoil.
Expensive at 19.99, but what the hell, it’s a holiday and in the end it was pretty cool.
I thought the music and sound effects were dumb in spots but my daughter thought the opposite lol 😂 so, who knows?
Fans of James Wan’s stuff will probably dig it

Ok movie but not worth the money

The movie was very predictable and had no jump scares. I mostly looked at FB while watching it. I Paid the $19.99 to see it but it wasn't worth it. Wait for the price to come down and if you are really bored, then you should watch it. I actually fell asleep a couple of times.
