Similar to water wipes at a cheaper price!

First Impressions - I will preface this by saying that we are normally a Water Wipes household (I feel like you can't make a comparison review without laying out your baseline favorite). My LO was in the NICU and they used WW so we have used them ever since. These wipes feel very similar to WW in that they are lightweight and sturdy. They are not quilted. They have a few more ingredients than WW but are still 99% water. So far they are getting the job done and I have no complaints (will update this review, if anything changes). As a cheaper alternative, I will use again (at least until I can find a WW sale) and these may even take the place as new household standard.

BEWARE THE 1%!!!! Not for babies with sensitive skin

My son has extremely sensitive skin so we use water wipes and other 99% water based wipes (pampers aqua, honest co, ext) and I saw these and thought it would be a great, cheaper alternative, also being 99% water based! However, I used it to wipe him down after he peed everywhere and he broke out into hives everywhere I had wiped him. Arms, legs and stomach :( And it only happened on the side I wiped him. Poor guy was miserable . They went away with Benadryl so whatever is in the 1% caused him to have this reaction, not use if it is what they used to make them scented or what but I will NEVER be using them again. Be cautious if you’re buying this for your sensitive skin baby.

Used as an anti-bacterial in cosmetics and stabilizer in perfumes, phenoxyethanol is actually very harmful. It is harmful if swallowed, inhaled or absorbed through skin, especially to nursing mothers or infants. ... It irritates skin and eyes, and can cause blistering on skin as well.

I bought these because I really like water wipes. No comparison!!!! These are no where near as wet. They’re actually pretty dry. Water wipes have 2 ingredients. These have A LOT of ingredients. More than 15!!! Like I said, no comparison.

When I went to Amazon with my complaint they told me to write a review, even though I feel like it will not be posted. Buying these wipes was the worst experience I've ever had with wipes or with Amazon. The feel, scent and idea of these wipes are great. I got a box of them. About the 4th I noticed a black mold like spot on the wipes. Another pack had something black like string or threading that shouldn't have been there. My daughter had a horrible fungal rash for weeks. It was hard to get rid of I had to go back to my regular wipes AND 2 ROUNDS OF FUNGAL CREAM. Then when I brought this issue to Amazon's attention they acted like it was nothing. I should have gotten some kind of compensation coupon or discount. I use Amazon way too much for that kind of service

Bring back the old wipes

These are rough, I wouldn't use them on a baby. I use them for my old crack and I don't like them.
They are completely smooth, no imprinted texture like old Amazon.
They are dry. Pro tip: keep the package face down so the first wipe is always the most moist. Even still, these things are barely moist. I'm afraid the pack will dry out before I finish them.
Gave two stars because they have never torn mid swipe.

These wipes are basically mildly moist cotton sheets. It does not compare to the other 99% water wipes. You have to use triple the amount of sheets to clean up a messy diaper (when compared to Seventh Gen). Very disappointed with these wipes and even more disappointed that I’m stuck with them since you can’t return them if you opened one of the packs.

99% water —- 1% of stuff I don’t want in a wipe

Both of my children have been potty trained for years but I’m hooked on baby wipes. I use them for everything. Washing hands, faces, baby bums, and even myself. I wanted to get away from the more chemically added wipes so I found these. They are very deceiving. It contains 99% water but the other ingredients are harmful and unnecessary. The smell is ok it is pretty subtle but defiantly not fragrance free. The wipes seem less moist than most I’ve tried. I paid about 3$ a pack which isn’t a bad price point. I also really like the packaging as it seems sturdy and opens and closes to keep them from drying out. I really wanted to like these wipes but the almost false advertising just really throws me off. Makes customers think they’re mostly water but these wipes don’t compare to the real water wipes. I wouldn’t recommend these on adults let alone new born babies. Oh ya and don’t flush them when you’re finished. They are not flushable.

These are horrible for our babies! The second ingredient listed is PHENOXYETHANOL. It also states that these wipes are safe for babies bottoms, hands and face. If you research, you will learn that PHENOXYETHANOL is not safe at all!! Phenoxyethanol. Another common preservative, phenoxyethanol in baby wipes is becoming even more common as manufacturers try to avoid parabens. It's an irritant, and shouldn't be used around the mouth. According to the FDA, It can also depress the central nervous system in infants, so really shouldn't be used on babies. The Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) on phenoxyethanol states that it can cause skin and lung irritation. It's also toxic to the kidneys, nervous system, and liver, and repeated, long-term exposure can cause organ damage. It notes that toxic effects can occur through inhalation, skin exposure, and ingestion.

Burns skin, easy return

I was tricked with the advertising. I happened to wipe my own face with one before using on my baby. My face was red and burned for hours after use. I wouldn’t touch my baby with something that did this to my own skin. I looked into the ingredients after and switched brands completely due to the complete scam of this product. I’m so upset. However, I did get a full refund very easily without having to return the product which saves me a lot of hassle.
