I've worn this pouch 5 days a week for the past year and 3 months, and it has held up incredibly. There is some normal wear and tear associated with wearing something for 15 months in a row of course, but absolutely nothing has hurt the functionality of the pouch.
Items I store in the front include a tape measure, a flashlight, a sharpie and a pen and a box cutter. In the pouches themselves I have a small notebook, a long "steak" knife, a small bag of earplugs, a large black marker, a folding pocket knife, an a couple extra pens/sharpies.
It weighs 2 lbs with all my stuff included which is definitely bearable for an 8hr work day on concrete.
EDIT (2nd picture added): Just over 2 years with this pouch as a daily user and it's still working great! It's had it's normal share of wear and tear but it's been on my side every day of the week and hasn't fallen apart yet! The duck tape on the sides is where the pouch has rubbed against things with the utility knife inside and started to wear down, but that doesn't take away from the quality of this product whatsoever.
