I had such high hopes for this bread, but each flavor had crumbled and I couldn't even toast it.To force 2 batches on you when ordering I feel it is a pawning off a crumbling mess of a bread product. There is no reason to buy this at a very high price and then to put up with the inferior product. Amazon, you fulfilled something not worth anything and no quality control over what you should be doing for your Prime members. This is so disappointing. There was never a mention of not being able to return this bread. *you are stuck with it* It is an expensive lesson.

If you like Wonder bread type breads forget it. This Mestemacher bread is the read deal. REAL BREAD. Very good texture. Excellent taste. There isn't any thing better you can put in your mouth as far as I am concerned. Earthy taste, filling, a satisfyingly a good chew.

This rye arrived with mold. Within 3 days, the unopened package was green with mold. The bread that is not moldy is stale! This in spite of the fact that the bread’s expiration date is 11 months from now!

Exactly what I was looking for! I was craving rye bread, its one of my favorite breads and i live in a smaller town so rye options are slim to none. Ordered this trio and it arrived next day which was super awesome. Started with the Rye toasted for my breakfast egg, cheese(swiss and sharp cheddar), avocado, red onion and tomato open face sandwich. First bite I was wowed! The texture is dense yet soft, I like the thinness of it and the flavor is sourish but not overly so. Its just all around excellent bread really made my breakfast!! and what makes it better the ingredient list isn't a mile long! Just Straight and to the point without added garbage for filler. I Have not tried the others yet going to do one loaf at a time. But I am pretty certain they are going to be just as delish and already know I will be ordering again when I need Rye bread!

I pay for Prime delivery & have had this issue before, but rural areas don't consider having to pay for gas & take off work to go pick up during bus hrs as "Prime"...the address I have doesn't have a post office box address, but they sent it by USPS anyway, so it went to the local post office & during this COVID 19 deal, thats NOT acceptable in any way!! PERIOD!!
~I really wasn't sure abt ordering...thought it might be like the little Peppridge Farm 2x2 inch snack types; but I was pleasantly surprised that these are 3.5x6.5x1.75 inch loaves & I'm hoping all the loaves are sliced like the Sunflower/Rye loaf.(qtr-inch) I was curious abt that one. Very dense, held together & I cut one slice in half & made an organic peanut butter sandwich which was abt the size of a regular sandwich bread one, with crusts cut off. The exp date (unopened) is DEC/2020 They're vacuum packed. I imagine they'd freeze well after opening(?) Pleased so far!
