Great bed, easy to assemble if done correctly

I purchased two of these for my AirBnb rental because I wanted something colorful to go with the original 60s ceiling light and these beds didn't disappoint. (Please excuse the pics as the room is a work in progress.) I had them assembled by a guy who does Ikea furniture assembly. He said that all you need to do is put ALL the pieces together WITHOUT tightening. Once they're all together you begin to tighten. If you tighten each piece as you go they might not line up correctly. The beds themselves are very pretty. I got the teal color which is a medium to slightly darker tone and gives a nice pop of color but not it's garish in any way. The upholstery is a nice thick fabric that feels like it will hold up well. The frames are lightweight, I'm assuming made out of pine. I would have preferred if they were made out of a more dense wood but for the price it's perfectly acceptable. At least they're easy to move if needed. Two of us have slept in it with a 10" Zinus Ultima Comfort memory foam mattress also purchased on Amazon. Together we weigh 350 lbs and the bed was perfectly sturdy. I chose a 10" mattress because I didn't want the bed to be too low and it's a perfect height in my opinion. I highly recommend these beds for the look, quality and the price.

Ok, bed but very low to ground and flimsy little foot in the middle

I wanted to like these, bought two twins. They were difficult to put together, timely, took suggestions to keep everything loose and tighten at the end, so that helped. The second went faster than the first. Really don't like the cheesy little leg in the middle of the bed, it's ugly and flimsy, would be so much nicer looking if it wasn't there, but then the bed would have to be built more solidly. I've already stubbed my toes on it a half dozen times! Positives: the headboard is cute, price is right. Tried buying a more expensive bed without the ugly leg but was out of stock. Wouldn't purchase these again.

My daughter picked this bed and she really like s it. The color is like the one pictured on the site, a vibrant teal that looks quite sharp. The bed assembles rather easily but it will take two people to do the job, the instructions are ok, but it is pretty straightforward. The quality seems ok for the price and we hope that it will hold because our daughter likes it and it looks nice. Overall, happy with the purchase.

It took me about an hour to assemble. I was concerned about stability until the last couple of screw ‘tightenings’. I’m impressed with how well it all comes together. Instructions were easy to follow and it looks great.

Bear in mind that this is a lower profile and you won’t be able to fit much under the bed. I have baseboard outlets and the bed won’t fit over them so I had to raise the head of the bed with a piece of would to fit it against the wall.

Awesome bed for my five year old daughter. I got it because of the weight limit it said it would hold and it is definitely study. I am a big guy and I can nap with my daughter on it. We have had several adults sit on it without a problem. I don't hear any squeaking or creeking of the frame. My daughter loves it as well since it is a mini version of our bed.

My husband and I had this bed put together in no time. Seems to be nice and heavy and sturdy. From past review photos I found that parts may have been changed or upgraded (did not think of taking photos when we put it together) But if you take your time and read the instructions you should have no issues in my opinion. It’s a little low to the ground in my personal opinion, but it’s my daughters bed and what she wanted. She is very happy with the bed.

This was for my 8yr old daughter and she loves it. She did try to jump on it and the slabs came out but I was able to fix it. Not made for jumping. She knows that now..lol Love the bed though perfect for children.

I’m giving this two stars because of the customer service that Modway provided the first time I reached out. Otherwise I’d give it one start. After about 4 months, my bed started to wobble and the support legs on the bottom were completely falling apart and scratching my wood floors. One leg literally snapped in half. After my first complaint in the middle of July (as I write this review it is currently the end of August the same year), Modway sent me new support parts. This helped a lot for 3 of the four sides. However, after less than a couple of weeks after the new parts arrived, one side of my bed completely collapsed. The side supper legs are way too flimsy. I now have a block holding the side rails in place so I can sleep on it. I reached out to Modway again, but this time, there was no response. I didn’t expect the bed to last forever, but I also didn’t expect to last less than a year. I’m not even 140lbs and the side that I sleep on is completely broken. The putter side partially broken. For the price, this bed was NOT worth it. I would pay a lot more to not have to deal with hassle of calling support and dealing with it falling apart. I am an extremely handy person and I know with confidence I did not put this together wrong. It’s a cheap bed and you’re much better of buying something way higher quality.
